I've been running testing at Melbourne but nearly put the controller through the TV. The rulings on what is constituting corner cutting is obscenely unfair in places.
I even had a spin and was tld my lap didn't count even though I was in the midst of a huge accident.

Good racing guys! It took longer than I thought to get in to a good rhythm with a nice pace. Just need some more setup work and mileage in the car, and then I think Team NRT will be well on pace!

I could only be in for the first since I then needed my precious beauty-sleep But just like Micko said.. We need to work out a good setup and then we will be on the way ! But after that first quali.. MAN.. Smokey is FAAAAAST.. it´s almost scary !

I am planning on doing some practice later this afternoon/evening if anybody is up for it !

Hmm so I got another copy of F1 today, only did 3 laps in Oz and ran a 25.xxx. My first time with the wheel aswell. It's wierd, maybe it's my settings but I struggle to even stay on the road on Forza but every other game works perfectly fine.

Thats with stock setup...not sure how much difference a setup makes on this game.

Not played the game in months and it was with the pad last time so I'm shocked at how quick I managed to pick it up. I'll be running more throughout this week.

yeah, i find I love the wheel with most other game, DIRT 2 is defo the best wheel game out there currently. Forza I've always felt detached and unenvolved with on the wheel tbh!!

Probably because the actual physics of Forza are completely different between pad and wheel. You can turn in much sharper with a pad in Forza and braking is a lot easier with a pad. Only problem is you can't feel what is going on nearly as well. I tried it with both for tuning a car today and noticed that in the same turn at Mugello my wheel lost grip in the front tires. At the same exact angle and speed my pad just flew on down and gripped fine. The mod's on the forums claim there is no pad assists but that is garbage. I also have the wonderful MS wheel. Piece of crap

Did a few laps earlier, now down to 23.9. Getting used to the wheel now.

If there was ever a game I realised I needed a wheel for its this!!!
