Yea the European Le Mans Series is the old LMS take it as a feeder the the WEC, 20 cars better than what they were expected to get Smile

I'm kind of shocked that someone with the resources of Toyota cannot come up with a repaired or new car in time for Spa. This shakes my confidence in them a little because I could not see this taking place with Audi or Peugeot.

Also, they already skipped Sebring, isn't there a big penalty for missing more than one round of the WEC?

I don't understand why Peugeot didn't sell their latest spec cars. They were track ready because they were already well into testing. If the company is hard up for cash, those cars seem like a easy way to make some quick money.

I could have seen Oreca purchasing one of the latest spec Peugeot's but they tied themselves with Toyota meaning that they wont try and purchase a 908 Hybrid which is a massive shame as apart from Oreca and maybe Pescarolo no one else would have the budget to buy one of the Pugs.
