Farewell to Forza 3 –

Not many to be honest mate. Either they are not online or they're playing Battlefiled 3 Beta.

Depending on what time, I'm up for it, if it's later than 9PM then no.

Sorry, BF3 beta had all my attention tonight. Which is understandable.

Why aren't more people on BF3?

Hey all.
Seeing as this will be the last week officially that we will use forza 3, I thought it would be a great idea to finish off the Marathon.
Obviously, we won't be able to race in all of the remaining tracks because it was cancelled last week. However, just to spice things up a bit, I thought it would be a cool idea to include our racing cars that we've used in 2010 and 2011 using forza 3. Then I would choose a spec of car to use at that track. Lets say for example that we first raced at Road Atlanta using our 2010 & 2011 GT3 cars, then race at Nurburgring GP Short in our V8 Supercars etc.
If people understand what I'm on about and agree with the idea, I'll devise a list in a bit of tracks we haven't raced on yet as well as the TORA series cars to be raced at those tracks.

What do you think?

Obviously, we aren't gonna finish as we'd hoped. But here's what I'm proposing of how we should finish the TORA Marathon tomorrow evening. Later start @ 9pm BST would help as well I think:



Le Mans Full - 3 laps - ISCC 2010 & 2011 ISCC vehicles including GT1's

Maple Valley Full - 4 laps - TORA 2010 Touring Car Masters

Mazda Laguna Seca - 4 laps - TORA 2011 Winter & Summer GT3's

Nurburgring GP Short - 5 laps - TORA Fiat 500 Abarths & 2010 Mini Cooper Challenge cars

Nurburgring Nordschleife - 2 laps - 2010 TORA Nurburg 24 cars (GT2's and GT3's)

Rally di Postiano - 1 lap - TORA 2010 Rally Championship & Historic Rally Championship Vehicles

Road Atlanta - 4 laps - TORA 2010 & 2011 GT3 cars

Silverstone GP - 3 laps - TORA 2010 GT4 Championship cars

Sunset Infield Reverse - 4 laps - 2010 TORA V8 Supercars

Sunset Peninsula Oval - 10 laps - 2011 TORA Tascar automobiles

Suzuka GP - 2 laps - TORA 2011 Touring Car Championship vehicles



What do you think? Or should we just give up on the marathon all together?

Also I wasnt here when most of these series was run so i only have a 2011 TCC, P2 ISCC, a GT3 Audi and a V8 Supercar. Can someone send me tunes for the night and i should be ale to get cars bought.

+1 for wanting to start a little later. Gives me a chance to participate. And even have the GT2 Ford still painted in the Gulf colors from last years' N24 (even the numberbox), and my GT4 Aston Vantage still painted up

Also, don't worry if you haven't raced in previous series. I can make certain amendments so that you can race other vehicles. For example with the 2010 GT3's, you can race your 2011 car instead or I can gift you a car.

I haven't raced in the 500 Abarths so if someone could gift me a build/tune for that, I would be very grateful.

i believe i still have the Abarth Trophy tune still Dan, though its prolly locked because it was off "HIS" storefront. but i can built you the car and gift that if need be

If it doesn't work, don't worry. Because I've altered the list to include the 2010 Mini Cooper Challenge cars if people don't have the 500 Abarths. I have a tune for the Mini I could gift out if need be.

Was thinking of giving the older cars a power handicap to balance things a bit. Whether it'll be 5% or 10% handicaps yet, not really sure.
It's just to make things flexible because not everyone would have raced in 2010 with us obviously. Hense why I've suggested the 500 Abarths and the Mini Coopers because I didn't race the 500's but I have a build/tune for the Mini.

I've had to spend a lot of money as well mate. Not only for the possible unicorn cars for Forza 4 but also cars I've used in the past. I'm nearly broke now as a result. lol


Don't forget people. Tonight @ 9pm BST if you wanna join us in having fun completing the TORA Marathon. Might start 15 minutes later depending on whether Travis will be on at that time.

I'll be in for some of this if I am on, I've still got most of the old M&M cars gathering virtual dust.

Definitely in for this - have been going through my liveries preparing for FM4, and would be nice to give the old girls a run again!

What a fitting way to finish the forza 3 marathon. Absolutely epic fun with lots of very amusing moments during the evening. I knew somehow that changing the cars would spark a fresh interest in the marathon and everyone had a great time.
Highlight of the night was defernately the minis around New York with the chicanes.

It was very interesting as well that the 2010 GT3 cars with 5% power handicap matched the 2011 GT3's.
