I know.... so gutted for Perez that he didn't win, but still great result.
Might see Perez at Ferrari... however wouldn't be surprised if they snatch someone like di Resta.

I really enjoyed the race this morning.
Perez deserved to win it. Definitely.
This season really is shaping up to be epic.

Perez!!! I find myself rooting for him since he's the only driver from Mexico in Formula 1 right now.

Awesome race indeed! Can't wait to see Raikkonen in the podium again! I wonder whats up with Mercedes (though rain races are bad examples of performance)...

This is the highlight of the race for me...

"Sebastian Vettel believes Narain Karthikeyan was responsible for the collision that brought an end to his chances of scoring points at the Malaysian Grand Prix and has called him a "cucumber".
"Talking to German television, he added: "As in real life, there are a few cucumbers on the road."
I have new found respect for the German now

That will be his reward for not passing Alonso. Having Carlos Slim backing him doesn't hurt!

i guess if you cut across his front wing with your rear tires because you dont have any spatial awareness, it's "his" fault
riiiiiight.

Either get rid of blue flags or drop to 22 cars, as caterham and marussia never seem to hold drivers up.

Re: 2012 FIA Formula 1 World Championship
Eh?
A team shouldn't be taken out simply because one driver was involved in an incident. In fact, both cases during the Grand Prix where a HRT was involved in damaging a front running car, it was not the HRT's fault. It was definitely Button's fault the first time, and Vettel's the second.

Defo dude, no way was not HRT fault want to blame some 1 then mr ex fia president will be the best beat as he promised the new teams cost cut f1, which is pretty hard to manage when red bull keep calling themselves a small team cough cough how many staff lol
Re: 2012 FIA Formula 1 World Championship
I think Sauber are absolutely elated with that 2nd position! Perez is a great driver! I haven't seen the race yet but what a mix up! What a weird grid! The racing is gonna be so great this year!

Re: 2012 FIA Formula 1 World Championship
They are bloody stupid going to Bahrain. Firstly, the track is crap and secondly, who knows whats gonna happen there. The whole track could end up being a protest field.

Re: 2012 FIA Formula 1 World Championship
The difference between Bahrain and every other race on the calendar is that the Bahraini government is using the race as a crutch. China does not tout their Grand Prix as a unifying event that will bring their country together. They just see it as a sporting event. Bahrain on the other hand is telling everyone that will listen that this race is proof that they have all their troubles under control and that any unrest is in the past. They've turned the race into a political tool which is not what the sport should be. At this point, F1 is screwed no matter what happens. If they go, they are giving tacit support to the government there. If they don't, they are showing support for the protestors. Neither option is a good one for a sport.
That said, F1 is so incompetently managed by the FIA, FOM, and FOTA that part of me thinks that they deserve this. They created this problem for themselves last year and barely escaped it, and they went and did the exact same thing this year.
