How he would feel that he could try to overtake Hamilton when clearly that all four wheels are off the track (over the white line) is completely mad! I do hope he recieves a penalty clearly for utter stupidity!!

Anyway, brilliant win for Alonso. To start 11th to take the win is a great achievement.
What a shame for Vettel retiring as well...NOT! Well, for me anyway. I understand that a lot of people are fans of Vettel, but I'm not one of them.

Neither of them made an attempt to make it work. I apportion the blame to the both of them, which is different to a racing accident. It was avoidable, on both parts.

+1 Nicky. Hamilton gave the Lotus room earlyer in the race and clearly had no tyres left at the end.

Maldonado is a 'see you next tuesday'!

Three times he's purposely hit people now, Hamilton last year at Spa, Perez at Monaco, and now Hamilton again. The fat jawed drug dealing oil baron needs his superlicense taken off him!

It goes for the both of them. Hamilton should have been smart enough to know he was never going to get the traction out of the corner to deal with Pastor, and Pastor should have been smart enough to not plow into the side of him.

Maldo had a run on the outside, and L'il LuLu didn't give him any room... I may not be the best TORA racer, but if you pass me clean on the outside, I am not gonna run you off the (naughty word)ing track.

Louis had killed his tires and was in full panic mode by teh time Maldonado got there, so instead of losing a podium spot, Lois (once again) threw it all away, this time by slamming into first Maldonado then the wall.

But Maclaren fans take heart, Maldonado got a penalty for it

Unconfirmed reports (and pictures which I won't post as a mark of respect) are that she hit the raised rear ramp of the team truck, which was at head height after the call suddenly accelerated (possibly after going into anti-stall mode). No news on her condition yet, some 4 hours later, an announcement is expected at 2pm.

On the Speed TV F1 broadcasts, we get Will Buxton as pit reporter. He is great. I know he is English, do you guys on that end of the pond know his background? He is like having Hammond roaming the pits.
