'Alternative' Motorsport Games
Like TORA's version of the Olympics, for 'alternative' motorsport and a few fun games that myself and others have come up with in the past. I'm talking of a multi-discipline even run over a number of nights for different sorts of fun things to do with cars! I'm talking events like:
Drifting (Solo and Battle - Club Class and Unlimited Class)
Mountain Battle (4WD production models, leader wins by maintaining the gap, follower wins by reducing - Knockout format)
Rallycross (Heat/Knockout Competition)
Drag Racing (1/4 Mile and Whole Mile)
Sumo Wrestling
Rallying (Multi-stage event)
Autotesting (Gymkhana - 4WD and 2WD classes)
Football (Five-a-side)
Time-Attack (F1 qualifying style knockout format - Unlimited 4WD)
Demo Derby
Some events are catered for by the game itself, and some can be easily done using some organisation and diagrams!

Re: 'Alternative' Motorsport Games
Togue (Mountain Battle) gets my vote, I would love to do a Togue night with everyone here up and down Fujimi Kaido.
Re: 'Alternative' Motorsport Games
It would be good fun. Would be nice to see what sort of cars people come up with too.
I'm all for doing all of these. I haven't done much drifting in a while, so I built myself a little 86 with 200hp and had a blast around Tsukuba yesterday. Such good fun.
Also, with Rallycross, I can think of a few places where i'd like to try and make a track, complete with a joker lap, they would all be asphalt only, as there's no way we can make a proper mixed surface track.

Re: 'Alternative' Motorsport Games
That sounds exceptionally good!
I think that Bobsleighing needs to be added on the downhill section at Kaido, just letting the cars roll off the line and letting gravity do the rest of the work done it in the past and it's a load of fun

A slight grip handicap too to make the track ''greasy''.

Re: 'Alternative' Motorsport Games
...That may have to happen because I've tried out an Alfa Mito with EVERYTHING on it, and its...well, Ideal if there was such a thing as a touring car championship with superpowerd hatchbacks on short tracks...Same goes for the Ford Focus I've tried out... theyre too stable for rallycrossing.

Re: 'Alternative' Motorsport Games
Adrian, on the diff, put all the torque to the back, put acceleration to 100%, put the car on road tyres and make them as skinny as possible.
