Some of the World GT Runners stayed on to test this out, the GT500s were running only slightly quicker than the World GT cars, the split grid by 30 seconds or more may need to be done.

the GT500's would catch up to the GT300 cars pretty soon after the start. I think that they should be 45min-hour long races.

Can I suggest to run the shorter circuits except for the big finale, Suzuka/Motegi East. That way we can still have the split grid, but seperated by 10 seconds, and we'd still probably get a decent amount of backmarkery.

I was thinking about the DTM cars being added. I'm still split on that.

While I think that the DTM cars might need a little work to be added. It would open up the GT500 car list a little bit more, AND would open up the German tracks for competition.

GT300, I think we need to keep the Corvette and Aston and any other possible GT3 car that gets added to the World GT car list.

The Lexus just dominated recently in a Super GT league on some other site, car was picked by over 2/3 of the drivers and only two or three drivers ever made it into lobby 1 without a lexus. The racing is an absolute blast though and I think a lot of the cars really are balanced but the Lexus is on a different level, and the Hyundai proved to be useless. I will go out of my way to race with you guys in these, especially if you force all assists off. Laughing

I've got the real SuperGT logo that I made in FM3, which I was just gonna use and maybe put the TORA logo on top of that.

tbh, I would much rather run the real Autobacs box, that I can hand out, and just have a TORA logo on the side of the car somewhere. Would look much better imo

Theres about 19 different homemade number box variants :-S. Its at times like this we just go with the real thing, just to K.I.S.S. (Keep It Simple, stupid)

Also, found a rather horrific glitch involving the Audi A4 DTM car arount Motegi East just now, no brakes whatsoever, Silentalarm and Posimosh were in the same room, hopefully it was a one-off and not going to happen again, unless those two have discovered the same problem...

Tried the audi dtm around motegi and foound nothing unusual, brakes worked fine

In order to filter the r2 cars to include the 05 nsx, the 05 supra sneaked in, so I guess if people want to run it, they can, but remember there are no upgrades , if they end up romping it in testing then we scrub it from the final car list.

Well I spoke too soon, didn't realize you guys were doing it differently, that series had restrictors removed from a lot of the cars so it might have made a difference in the final balance. I think it's most noticeable when all the cars have stock tunes, you can definitely find more grip when tuning any of the other cars but it's much more of a pain in the ass then just taking a stock Lexus tune and being fast out of the box. That was a huge reason why most people picked that car I think, just being lazy.

What about the Supra makes you want to exclude it though? Have you guys already done all the testing or are you just basing it off of old forza games?

one problem is that we wont have enough buckets to accommodate all the different classes and handicaps needed to fit the cars in.

yeah but at least honda makes an NSX still...

toyota dosent even make any exciting cars... and they run the SC430's under the lexus name brand....the only toyota they have in super GT is the GT300 prius.

that and I dont like toyota's.
