Re: TORA 12 Hours of Sebring - General Discussion
You've got 8 hours to do the next stint, so plenty of time to sleep after your 1st stint.
You can do it!!!

Re: TORA 12 Hours of Sebring - General Discussion
Just wanted to take this opportunity to publicly express my gratitude towards ONR Python and ONR Flawluzz for NOT returning several messages over the past week from myself and Trash, and for NOT holding up their commitments.
Finally I would like to thank them for waisting myself, and IRT Trashs' time along with every TORA staff member time who spent the time to type their worthless [Censored] names on any kind of "document".
Good luck to everyone in the race.

Re: TORA 12 Hours of Sebring - General Discussion
well stint 1 is done,
thankfully, after lag made a restart on the warm up lap
dropped a position on start, but got it back, was running 3rd in class, until a lag spike got me and gave me 21% engine wear for a charging gunnerman to over take me with 2 minutes left.
was a great run, hope i didn't spoil anyones run?
thanks to the LMP guys, great communication
and road runner, that was a great battle we had going until i got hit with the first lag spike, but oh well
was great racing by all

Re: TORA 12 Hours of Sebring - General Discussion
Distance calculation seems not correct. For my first stint the live timing lists 1136708 feet = 215.29 miles. However, the game was showing that I already passed the 216 mile marker (which I also told at the end of race). Problem is that you don't consider the mile portion for the leader distance. If the lobby leader is reporting e.g. 220 miles, this could be up to 220.99 miles.

True, but I do like this system because it's definitely better. I doubt we could ever get it perfect without Forza changing their system.

Re: TORA 12 Hours of Sebring - General Discussion
In fact the mile marker ticks over at 0.5 miles, so up to 220.49 would show as 220 for the leader. The distance to everyone behind is accurate no matter the "portion" of a mile the leader is on, therefore the "gap" is still the correct size.
Re: TORA 12 Hours of Sebring - General Discussion
Agreed, better than before but just half-way. There are ways to make it better:Drake Hellspawn wrote:True, but I do like this system because it's definitely better. a) lobby leader measures the distance to the next full mile marker, that would be most accurate but could not be done anymore for this event.
b) as we also reported the miles for each driver, you can adjust the distances, i.e. in first stint Motorhead did _at least_ 218.71 miles (EDIT: assuming marker at full miles, with marker at 0.5 miles he did at least 218.21 miles) (otherwise I would not have 216 miles) instead of just 218 miles. From this the distances of other drivers have to be calculated. Same for other lobbies, of course.
