Re: TORA 12 Hours of Sebring - General Discussion
Ok, but even if it ticks over at 0.5 miles you still get differences between lobbies, because the leader of each lobby has different mile "portion" driven over the last marker at x.5 miles. As said, the game was showing 216 miles for my first stint, so it must be at least 215.5 but live timing is showing only 215.29CQR Aero wrote:In fact the mile marker ticks over at 0.5 miles, so up to 220.49 would show as 220 for the leader. The distance to everyone behind is accurate no matter the "portion" of a mile the leader is on, therefore the "gap" is still the correct size.

Shouldn't this race actually be a 7th stint? We lose an hour and 30 minutes because we stop with 15 minutes left in the lobby. I think it should of been made up with a final stint that was only an hour and a half long.

Re: TORA 12 Hours of Sebring - General Discussion
CRA Team 3 snatched a 2nd place coming from 5th place after stint 5 in a very hectic and nervewrecking race. In the end , XBR Maddog and myself were the only ones to do 213 miles which was enough to get on the podium. i wonder what if i hadnt got that 48 rear 6 % side damage that was given to me just after halfway... well well never know. I was quite pissed at that moment i took the damage because it was totally unnecessary as the guy i was passing was lapped for a 2nd time.. ah well 2nd place
This is so unexpected, didnt seem like it at all before the weekend and after quali.
And of course couldnt have done this without my teammates CRa Racert and CRA Elijah. Both drove very consistent
Special thanks to Elijah for making the nice paintjob and for being so consistent and driving an excellent 5th stint, which increased our chances for a podium.
Im very proud and looking forward to Lemans.
greetings and congrats to the winners.

Nooooo i hope not, it was your teammate who gave me the damage to my rear end while being lapped, besides that he was involved in a very odd incident in the 4th lap on the straight...
Because of that contact i lost a lot of rear grip for nearly half the race and that also ruined any hope i had left to catch up XBR maddog for the Stint win.
Im watching the replay now to see if im gonna file a stewards inquiry , so dont be so sure yet even if u got more mileage.

Re: TORA 12 Hours of Sebring - General Discussion
He had 80% rear aero damage for the majority of the race. You don't see us filing an inquiry about him getting rear ended on turn 17. You were the overtaking car, it's your responsibility for the well being of your car.
You wouldn't have caught Maddog in less he had damage. I had four hours of racing him to find that out. He was without a doubt the fastest guy I've raced against on that track so far.
We have a much bigger reason to be mad by the way. We went into that stint in first place for the race. Sorry if a ruined car can't keep it's nose perfectly clean.

Are you serious?! I followed the white line on the left hand side of Turn 17. I gave you more than enough room. I couldn't possibly go any wider without hitting a bump and launching my BROKEN car into the wall. Your inability to get past cleanly was nothing to do with me! I gave enough room for two cars to get past. You also didn't lose grip for nearly half the race, you exaggerate. You also had no chance of the stint win from where I was sitting. Also, you might want to check out the number of times you actually lapped me. Funnily enough, nobody else hit me when lapping me, and i have years of multi-class experience.
You might also note the "incident" before the final straight, where my car (which was battling for the overall GT victory), got utterly ruined by the BG Vette. What happened after that was nothing to do with me. On my screen, the BG Vette plowed into the Porsche.
Please do take this to the stewards, I would like to put my side of the story to them. You had more than enough room, I have seen three cars fit inside that size gap around there. You were well off the fastest line and you continued to push further out until you hit me. I did my part, which is getting off the racing line and out of your way. I do not have to throw myself into a wall to let an idiot who cannot take the racing line go past.

i know LoosingShark and Teddy were pushing as hard as they could to get team 4 up there, if only i didn't get so much lag spike related damage in the final stint, oh well, that's racing

Just because u couldnt doesnt mean i couldnt, my setup was on par with his and i was mirroring his laptimes , the distance with him was never more then1400 to 1500 feet on average and stabilized. Until that idiotic contact

Please guys I know crashes are frustrating but don't banter on the forums. I've learned my lesson in doing that, it does no good for both sides. Just let the stewards handle this.

Yeah whatever,
I dont care how much "experience" u got, its not relevant in this situation. Im not talkin about me doin 3 stints in a row on Britcar 24H without damaging my car either..why? because its irrelevant.
U might as well had ample of reason to prevent me from passing u easily. In my opinion i found the first time i called out trying to pass u already problematic, Peader for example in the porsche had also loads of damage but i didnt have any problem with him, he saw me already coming, i told what i was about to doe and he went to the side generously. Im not so sure about your move, u said u did but u were off the line u said? i was on the line then going in the turn or slightly on the inside... i have to check it, because it didnt feel like a natural course of action at all...
And afterwards, damn sure i had lots more oversteer in the fast corners, how do u know? i had 48 % damage in the rear 6 on the side. Afterwards i couldnt keep up with maddog no more as a result and consequently it ruined my chance for a 2nd place possibly and a race win.
I told u already in race that i was very pissed at that contact and in my opinion u ruined my race for me, so im not done here, i will check the replay to see if there is any reason to file a SI

Re: TORA 12 Hours of Sebring - General Discussion
Agreed with LMR Scuderia. It's just a game guys no need in tempting an aneurism over it.
I was behind Modafaya for the majority of the race. And with only minor damage to my side aero, and the ability to turn consistent high 203s/low 204s, no matter how hard I pushed it, I was utterly unable to gain any ground on you, if I wasn't steadily losing a few feet a lap. I'm not saying your car wasn't handicapped or anything, just trying to give something for reference.
I was also right behind the two guys who had contact in 17 (the Porsche and the Vette) and from my point of few there was considerable lag going on at that point. Honestly I was concerned that I myself was lagging and tried to give as much space to people I passed/that were passing me as possible. But from my point of view, and from what I could tell, the Vette didn't appear to ram the Porsche. It looked like they were close, but not touching, and then suddenly were forced apart, and I passed through the middle. Almost at the same exact moment both cars were doing some jittering on my screen, so I would say that one was a simple lag accident, rather than incident.
Anyways, I had a lot of fun, and thought it was a good race overall... It's all about good fun fellas. You win some you lose some. My team has been racing all day knowing full well we weren't going to even come close to a podium, or likely even top ten, finish. Loved it. Great job everyone! Especially the folks who make it happen. It's no cakewalk organizing something like this... Greatly looking forward to the legendary 24hrs of Le Mans!

Re: TORA 12 Hours of Sebring - General Discussion
The proper line there is to hug the wall. I was on the far LEFT of the track, following the white line. You had plenty of room to get through cleanly, I couldn't go any further offline safely. Therefore, the rest of the onus is on you to get past me safely. I damn well moved to the side, same as Peader did. If you couldn't get past me there safely, you shouldn't have tried.
I had 80% rear damage, I could not take a wider line without crashing.
Watched the replay, Smithy hit me, the Porsche crash was probably due to lag.

I would rather not argue Scuderia. I just don't reading crap like this about my team members.
I'm trying to get the replay to go past ten minutes in the race so I can actually see what happened.
Oh and by the way Modafaya you can lose more than 6% of your side aero by simply hitting a cone.
