Confirmed. If you've pre-ordered from Shopto they'll let you swap to the Forza 5 bundle without losing your place in the pre-order queue. That's really adds some value for me (and many others I expect) - brings the cost of the system down to around £380 (Forza 5 was £45-£50 on top before). This is great news for the Forza community too - many more European players will pick up Forza 5 with their new machines, that may not have bought it otherwise.

If you've pre-ordered INSTORE with GAME, you may still be able to change in-store, but get there ASAP:

You can still pre-order directly from the Microsoft Store, but they're only offering FIFA 13 digital edition. Still, it's probably the last chance to get a console at launch, it could be early 2014 before there's significant new stocks available.

The problem is production capacity - estimates are that Microsoft's suppliers can manufacture around 1 million units a month, so as it's only just gone into production there will be 2-2.5 million units at launch - for 13 countries worldwide. Resupplies of stock after 22 Nov and before Christmas will first go to fulfilling 'wait list' orders, people who pre-ordered but too late to get it on launch day, so they'll get the next batch from retailers. Any left over will be available at retail, so stocks of 'walk in a buy it units' will be extremely limited from launch to Xmas.
