Welcome to the TORA Transatlantic Drag Championship

Welcome to the inaugural season of the MSA TORA Transatlantic Drag Championship!

As the name suggests, this series will focus on the underdogs of motorsports; Drag racers. Your regular racing strategies will not comply here. Handling issues are a thing of the past. It's about pure straight line speed, when you change gear, how you leave the start line, and how quick you get to the finish.

This is not a test of driver skill. This is a test of your car building and drag tuning abilities. It's about getting the most out of your car, whatever it is.

The TORA Transatlantic Drag Championship will cover the drag racing staples, and also introduce some new cars too. Also after every round, an optional bonus round will take place, featuring some special events you'll only see in a drag race.

The season will take place at Dunsfold Airfield in the UK, before flying overseas to the sunny Sedona Raceway, and then back to the UK before returning to the US for the final round. Each race meeting will consist of a total of nine heats;
1/4 Mile - Three Heats
1/2 Mile - Three Heats
1/1 Mile - Three Heats
Points are rewarded in the positions of the results of the Heats for each distance. These points then determine the points given for the Championship Standings.

Rather than choosing one car for the whole series, the car list and specification changes every week. The car list for a race will be announced one week in advance, before the previous race on the calendar starts.

The bonus round will be three Heats on a 1/1 Mile strip. Points will not go to the Championship Standings, but there will be a separate "unofficial" Bonus Round table.
