ISCC and the BG McLaren Cup are now in full swing after the first rounds at Sebring and Silverstone respectively. It's going to be a long season for both series, with the alternating calendar taking the final round all the up to November. Testing is underway for the next round of the ISCC and McLaren Cup, at Road America and Hockenheim respectively.

Marc VDS has entered six cars into the ISCC season. Three of which are the iconic BMW Z4 GT3s currently racing in the Blancpain Endurance Series.

Piloting these Z4s are Mandown46 (Blue), Om3ga73 (Yellow) and CallMehDarkside (Green). Om3ga was the only to race at Sebring, with Mandown and Darkside unavailable to attend.


The 2011 Kronos Aston Martin Lola takes a break from the gruelling TEC, being entered into the ISCC with two sister cars. These three prototypes are driven by Standaman94 (Yellow), JVz (Green) and xVampirAx (Blue). Standaman and JVz suffered serious mechanical and aerodynamic damage early in the race and completed the race with a limp.


Meanwhile, in the BG McLaren Cup, Marc VDS has entered a three-car team comprised of Standaman94 (Yellow), Bli33ard (Green) and XXX Skyrocket (Blue). The McLaren MP4-12C GT3 is an entirely new car to the extensive Marc VDS garage, wearing a livery based on the current BEC cars, with some markings from the N24 earlier this year.

The McLarens had a good run at Silverstone, with close racing all around and a generally clean race.


The rest of both the seasons look promising for the team. As always, we'll be back for the TEC in August and September with brand new cars, and some old cars from the back of the Marc VDS garage.
