TCR Legends - General Discussion

Good Morning, Good Afternoon, Good Evening.

Just weighing up interest on a possible Legends Championship (Like the cars above) On TORA?

The Cars used would be upgraded 1940 Ford De Luxe Coupe's (With a set Build by myself, no tuning).

What do people think? Would they be game for this?

On "Dirt" tracks!!! Sedona, Motegi, and Benchmark's smaller ovals. All with up to 50% rear grip reduction.

 

Oh and I'll take any suggestions, such as Mr Mikey J's!

Oh how I long for Eldora... But yes, I was thinking of having some ovals too! Maybe not with the grip reduction

Also, forgot to mention, the car is DLC, but only 160 Microsoft Points

maybe not 50%, but around 30% yes (15% front and rear)
but i would definitely be up for this

well i did some research (reading back on last years school work)
coefficient of friction for rubber on asphalt while moving is 0.9µk. on dirt it is 0.6µk
which is 66% of it, so 33% difference so whether you do 35% or 30% handicap it should (unless turn 10 didn't think of it) mimic the coefficient of friction of dirt in the cars
just incase you want to...

and it all depends on the time and day...
but fingers crossed it can work

I'll probably end up doing some 'Dirt' rounds in the season using the handicaps

Defo grip reduction Ideally more reduced on the rear than the front to mimic the front heavy RWD-ness of the cars on dirt

Well, I am downloading the car in a few days, I will do some testing and then put forward a date and stuff!

       

After doing some testing, I've decided the Grip reduction for Dirt rounds won't work at the moment (I will do more testing), but the series is still going ahead if i get a time slot! More information will be released soon!

Why didn't the grip reduction work?

The car did slide, but it just wouldn't turn full stop. If people (I.e Erebus or anyone else who knows how to simulate dirt), want to test the car then the Build is available on my storefront.

Also if anybody needs the Vinyl pack then let me know and I'll shoot it your way. Cheers!

I'll give it a shot next time i'm online (saturday morning) i'm thinking i'll try 3 tracks due to their shorter lengths, Sedona (will be hell), Layout B/C on benchmark and......
Camino mini (becuase it's so short it SHOULD work), i'll let you know how it goes
