TORA Demolition Derby possible?

Hello guys!

I was running in the Fun Cup last night and had the thought of a demolition derby, due to everyone accidently hitting each other. Some drivers have had falling outs and I thought it would be a good idea to make a demolition derby event for drivers who just want to get it out of their system. If this was to go forward, it would be at 8pm BST on a Saturday, and there would be a specific car and spec to run in it. Damage would be set to simulation for this. Drivers have 10 minutes to smash each other up, the last man remaining or man who has taken the least damage after the round would be declared the winner. There would be two rounds of this and drivers are allowed to use the pit (If they get to it) to repair their cars.

I will need to confirm interest in this, as I think it would be a good way to have fun and get all the stress out of a system after a hard week.  Can I have thoughts in the replies please?

How would you figure out who has the least amount of damage? I think everyone will be wrecked after one minute on simulation damage, let alone 10 minutes!

If it's all about 'getting out of the system', I'm sure you could probably play virus or cat & mouse on a public server.

Maybe a few tweaks can be made for it, but it will all come down to the person I judge is moving the fastest about 2 minutes from the end. So, limited damage then, public lobbies are too nooby for this sort of thing, do it professionally or don't do it at all!

Had a thought on it, ok maybe damage will be off but it could be worked out by who has the most dramatic crash (I will need a couple of stewards for this for a fair verdict) and then work on it from there.

Race Driver GRID style, Old amaerican Muscle car, tight track like Tskuba short or Ladera.

How can Public lobbies be too nooby for a demolition derby?   

I ran a season of Demolition Derby for TORA in 2011 and it was ALOT of fun!

Theres a lobby setup where you can score points for contact which allows the hardest hitters to be the winner.

I'm up for it and I've got the setup already on Forza 4 (was thinking of bringing it back myself) so if you need any help let me know

I knew it was going to be a good idea, and it is too nooby for public because all they do is pin you and your team-mates don't help you!

Slider, you are a legend, I will have a chat with you over Xbox on Saturday and we will try and get the set up sorted for Forza 4, if not there, we visit good old FM3, let me know when you are up for it.

Totally gonna start a design for my Demolition car.

Has anyone thought of a car list or is it anything goes.

Might pick a transit

 

I would set the lobby up for low PI high weight production cars. Impalas, Lincolns, Country Squires and Coronets would be possible contenders.

Dont have to muck about with lobby settings, just have a car list or a excluded cars list.

I realised that my post was worded wrong and was editing when you replied.  

And I would run this immediately following a ISCC, TEC or TCC race for maximum road rage.

I have sent an application form off, I am working on specifications for a car list now, I will get it up when I am done.

I have a car list, if this goes forward, I will post it. 2 Classes: Muscle cars and Heavyweights. You do the math on the cars that would likely be under these categories.

Back when I ran it I ran it as Front Engine RWD only, NO SUV's Pickups or Vans and a fairly low PI Limit.
