Does the result of the appeal effect the finishing positions in any off the the 2 races at meeting 7 and standings.

My grid penalty will be for season 4 round 1 me thinks

Hi all, as i am new to the world of TORA and are looking forward to hopefully joining in on future SPEC cup series, and was looking to see if anybody car lend a helping hand.

I have built a SPEC renault clio as per build rules and set about seeing how i fair against lap times that have been set. WOW they are some quick times, i can consistently run in the 1:13's around Camino reverse but that is as fast as i can get her to go. So here is  where the helping hand i need comes in. Can anybody give me some set up/tune ideas to run with as.

Clio tune - tyre 30.5 / 31.0 - ARB 1 / 40 - brakes 48 / 175 - diff 88 / 2

Ok, i think i follow that one. Thats quite a radical set up, but it seems to work 1:12.5's now. Thats shaved a second a lap off

I think we have had all drive types apart from 4x4 just saying

How about we do a TASCAR style truck race with the RAM SRT10, S class twin turbo 953 hp 897 ft. lb. torque 4143 pounds. Could run Road Atlanta, Laguna Seca, Sunset road and oval.

Because spec cup is supposed to be an entry level series to TORA, and thousand hp pickups are not really entry level. Lol

I work Wednesday nights now so I can't defend our championship It's probably the only time I'd get to use #3 as well

ranger i didnt race because ive got more important real life stuff going on a cant guarantee if im racing or not until that day, but ill pm you why i hadnt been racing

You're exagerrating..... its only 953 hp not 1000! It shouldn't be any harder to control than the BMW in Spec 2 was. What you want to run a Chevy Volt?

Why ask me to join a team that never turned up ! Was not happy at all but no worries as the team I joined ended up 2nd and were happy to have me !

It sucked we didn't do it but with me not being able to make the first round it seemed abit stupid in me competing as the lack of drop score would have put the team 200 points down. At least you found a team to compete with and you turned that situation around and done great! Maybe it worked out for the best in the end

Erm no, i was just kidding with my suggestions. This is an official TORA series, so a bit more seriousness is required. And the cars blizzard is considering will be good fun.

Spec Cup is an entry level series for people to get comfortable in before they feel confident going on to the 'bigger' series like GT, ISCC, TCC etc. While the racing is good in Spec Cup, the cars won't be as explosive or themed in a particular section. Clio Cup racing is probably the closest we'll get to 'cliché racing'.

Why no 900 horsepower Viper?  

Its entry level racing lol you don't just jump into an F1 car you have to work your way through the lower classes first ! The only reason I like the spec cup is that I myself tend to only race up to B class where as almost all tora races are A class and upwards
