So my Forza 5 LCE hasn't been dispatched from game at all, so won't get it on launch and probably not before I go back to work. Thankfully I'm away this weekend anyway, but emailed them to ask why. It's in the same order that they cancelled for Ghosts because my new billing address wasn't updated. Hopefully I can just buy a copy after release.

To be honest, they served no purpose other than the club garage, which no one really used anyway (unless you like driving other people's crappy cars). No real loss for me

On the contrary, I think car clubs will be missed. When Mikey is creating a series, such as the Vintage Trans Am Series, he puts the cars in the garage for the Ax4x guys to drive for feedback, which reminds me to submit my feedback to him for the latest batch of cars. And it's easy to identify gamers who don't have a club tag in their gamertag.

it is a key part of any good club. We use it all the time to go quickly back and forth with tuning and paints.

it will be surely missed Sad

Well yeah I imagine you would when you're one of the fastest clubs of Forza Razz But for a regular punter like me, I've rarely ever used it.

Worked great for enduros, as all one had to do was put the car in the club garage with the most recent paint and tune. Easy to do mid race, as all one had to do was get it in the club garage rather than go to the files and DL either a race ready car (freeken expensive option when racing multimillion Cr LMPs) or the paint/tune. Either way, that would require leaving the race lobby to DL at the last minute, a very risky move, as well as a lobby delayer.

Then you were in the wrong club. Our garage at Ax4x has some gems... unless you don't like getting kicked from public lobbies for beating down their Leaderboard cars with stuff rarely seen in public lobbies. Razz

We never used our club garage. If someone wanted a car we just sent it as people's brake pressures and decel settings slightly vary.

Like Kilroy said, we also used it extensively to test cars for potential race series. It helped the current Vintage Trans Am Series' become a reality... and there are more in the works*

To each his own. I can see where it helped, it could always be added in later. I think that could become more of a possibility with a lot of games now. I believe Xbox dropped the update/patch charge

Apparently there are universal engine swaps you can put in almost any car.
1.6T I4, 5.7 V8 and 1.3 Rotary, so you can put a V8 in an MX5

If that is true, then power balancing has just been made easy. I could see the same 1.6L T used through the entire TCC field, the same 5.7 V8 used to power a full field of Trans Am... study

just thinking out loud. Smile
