Re: Official Forza Motorsport 5 Thread - Part 2
The tag cruising guy, there is no tag either......just ignore him.
Re: Official Forza Motorsport 5 Thread - Part 2
The menus are a bit confusing at the start but once you get used to them, they actually work. Specially the Xbox One dashboard.
As for the tag/cruising guy, I actually thought he was being ironic
Honestly, I lost my patience with some guys at Forza Forums because of posts like this. They make absolutely no sense whatsoever and sometimes it feels like they just want to upset someone.
Patience of a saint you must have Worm, I´ve already lost mine.

Re: Official Forza Motorsport 5 Thread - Part 2
nope.
Hey! Interesting thing I found out whilst combing thru online lobby settings.
If you go to Body Family and go thru the options, you will find:
60's F1
80's F1
90's F1
American Stock Car
Pro Stock Drag Racing
German Grand Touring
Early Prototypes
PRE-WAR Grand Prix
Rally Legends
Race Trucks
This is the majority of the list that I can remember off the top of my head, it was a lot.
Also if you go to Model Family, 911 shows up

^ This was went over a billion times in the live stream
I think it is a good indicator for what to expect as DLC.
It also shows that T10 had all these cars planned but didn't have the time to add them.

Re: Official Forza Motorsport 5 Thread - Part 2
oops, well apart from the 70's F1 cars around Catalunya and the Indy cars around Laguna, I had no contact with the TORA stream lol.
btw. HOLY COW was that fun!

Re: Official Forza Motorsport 5 Thread - Part 2
If those categories are a sign of things to come it could be about to get very interesting
Re: Official Forza Motorsport 5 Thread - Part 2
There is abit of an upside. In my area i can find the newest version of the xbox360 controller, and FM4 for $150. But i still have my xbox360. So i bet next march/april time you could dwindle down the price of a 360 to $80 i bet if someone is desperate lol

Re: Official Forza Motorsport 5 Thread - Part 2
"I'm just going to post a little information regarding the game, so if you don't want to know, go away now
The Good Points: The handling is phenomenal. You can really feel the limits of grip through the force feedback triggers, the drivatars, albeit borderline reckless at times, are actually challenging once the difficulty is cranked up. The paint booth is improved, with the ability to paint OVER Carbon Fibre now. 3000 layers on left/right side & top, 1000 layers front and back. And a possibility of Stock Cars, DTM, Pre-War, 60's/80's/90's F1 Cars on their way. No issues with servers so far
The Bad Points: Aside from the whole lack of racecars/tracks and all that noise we already know about, there are certain parts of the game that really tell it's been rushed. Firstly, Lobby settings can't be saved, meaning you need to put them in manually every time. Car Clubs are gone. You can't gift things as far as I'm aware, not cars, designs or logos, which could be a problem for teammates (although T10 gifted Simon 100mil) You can't spectate a race, effectively ending the ability to Live Stream a race other than from the players point-of-view. Replays can't be saved in multiplayer, making the stewards and Media team pretty much redundant. Tokens for cars are astronomically expensive; £65 ($105) for 20,000 car tokens (Lotus F1 is 10,000. Indycar is 5,000) Credits seem to be difficult to accumulate, the fact that you can't sell your car (you can only 'remove' it) is an annoying grievance. In 'Free Play', you can't test drive any car you want; In fact, you can only drive the cars you own and 24 others (Not the Lotus F1, but you can drive the Indycars, V8SC & '76 F1 Cars). Inviting to game seems very confusing. I think the person you're inviting needs to be in your party to join your game.
If these issues can be addressed/patched, then this will turn out to be a cracking racing game, but until then, I can only score it a measly 5/10
My 'Review' I posted on the Ax4x website

Re: Official Forza Motorsport 5 Thread - Part 2
Is it just me or the payouts very small for leveling up?
15,700 per level isnt a lot. And the race payouts are small too considering you need to buy all your cars!
