Re: TCR Vintage Trans Am Series Discussion
I just want to mention that the week after the Vintage Trans Am Series wraps up, I plan on hosting a one-off night of racing, featuring two potential follow-up series to VTA.
I am still finalizing the builds/carlists, then we at Ax4x will be thoroughly testing and balancing the cars over the next couple weeks. And if all goes as planned, expect what would amount to two Feature Races, one for each class.
One note: both classes, while featuring much different cars than VTA, would use much the same build formula, so (hopefully) we would see the same level of close competition that we currently enjoy.

Watching the replay I was reminded that I had a race long battle with Bandit, w/o one bit of contact between us! Thanks Bandit, you've been a great teammate over the past year!

I don't pull any bleeped moves on you, but I have had some brainfart moments in the past.

Without Haydo, it would have been another win!
Great racing again, some epic side by side moments.

Re: TCR Vintage Trans Am Series Discussion
I am so glad that this series has been so well received. The competition level is high, and with the recent additions of VAMR Wilson, Haydo and Immortal, just keeps getting better.
To be honest, I was unsure of how the "old muscle cars" would work out, but had a feeling while testing that I found something unique... and seeing so many different models atop the results every week shows I was right.
Cheers to all racers, and these next two rounds should be great.

My problem wasn't lacking Patience......it was lacking sleep...I literally fell asleep at the wheel about 9-10 times before I just said im done and parked it for the rest of the event.Bandit1097 wrote:People seemed to lack patience on the first lap of both races...

Re: TCR Vintage Trans Am Series Discussion
sorry about the incident in the first race, i dunno if it was lag but someone hit the wall inside turn 3 and i tried to miss them n carnage broke, so i apologize to Hurricane and Agera for that.
and sorry for the small incident at the banking of the second race, was racing with Mikey, had some small contact which (combined with going onto the banking) unsettled my car and i couldn't catch it in time, so sorry to Broom and Hurricane (again)
awful driving in my part this morning so apologise to all, was not intentional
thanks for the racing though, was good to watch as you flew by me

Re: TCR Vintage Trans Am Series Discussion
Don't beat yourself up over it mate. In the first race, it was indeed lag, and me and JRacer bouncing off each other didn't help. The second race, I think it was Broom that you bounced off of. Either way, we all have those days, myself more than others.ErebusV8 wrote:sorry about the incident in the first race, i dunno if it was lag but someone hit the wall inside turn 3 and i tried to miss them n carnage broke, so i apologize to Hurricane and Agera for that.

Re: TCR Vintage Trans Am Series Discussion
Congrats to Prostock on a pair of rather impressive wins in his TORA debut. Watched the replays, and that R1 battle with Ranger was epic.
BTW, both replays from Sunset, as well as Infineon, are now on my storefront. I've taken loads of snapshots from today's races, and as soon as I can get to my storefront, expect the media thread to get pummeled with them.

Re: TCR Vintage Trans Am Series Discussion
Hmmm. Had a look back through the replays and have to admit the incidents I had in race 1 and 2 were both my own fault. Glad that the only victim in both incidents was also only myself... Justice was served. Racing at close proximity to others when on the edge of grip is something I need some more practise at.
Well done Prostock. (Wouldn't mind knowing your setup!! You seemed to have a very good top speed and also running a lot higher gear ratio than I did)
