What if I already posted a time on the leaderboard in an upgraded car in the same class as the event car. Then my time in the event car wouldn't appear on the leaderboard.

you would have to beat that time.

Well that could cause issues. If you've already set a good time in a good car then you wouldn't have the chance to compete with others just because you can't beat the time.

you can always beat a older time , with events like these it gets guys working together on some pretty sweet tunes .

Leaderboard show the fastest time of a particular class.

I'll use FM4 as an example here, since I'm not sure of the PI bands in FM5, the same concept should still apply.

I think the issue Kilroy is highlighting here is say the event was being run with a limit of 750 PI, and previously a driver had posted a time at a track in a leaderboard car of 800 PI it isn't really concievable for the driver to beat his previous time in a car whihc is not only 50 PI off, but also not a 'leaderboar car'.

No we won't ever run PIs like that it will always be to specified class.

Still a bit undecided of whether I'm still getting FM5, so my entry is tentative.

You should get it Tex regardles of some issues it is a great game.

Yeah you can do anything to get in the specified class.

Miles off with my Escort Cossie, with a 1:29. Might have to actually tune it.

Its up to you if you want to lap in a lobby , myself I prefer to hotlap alone.

Yea I like that to I meant just to get together and race around and get to know people.

This might be a daft question but where do I go to post my time?

Rivals> A class > Road Atlanta > run your best lap by this Saturday and i will pull your time from the leaderboard.
