Whats Next

So I have been deliberating on what to run next after the V8 Supercars.  With the mixed amounts of drivers per race in the V8 Supercars I want to do something that would be fun for the entire community.

So here are some of the ideas that I have been throwing around in my mind.

Forced Stock Racing
- Super GT 500/300 Multi Class
- North American Endurance Championship  (1 Hour Long Races at tracks in the US with LMP2 Cars)
- Corvette ZR1 GTLM/GTD  (GTLM no Handicap with GTD at 15% Power Handicap)

Tuning Allowed Racing
- RWD TCC (Basically take the FWD list, find all the cars that have a RWD conversion and Force everyone to use RWD)

Forced Build/Tune Racing
- Buick Regal TASCAR

Of course I am also open to suggestions on what to run next if I can keep the Friday night timeslot.  Vote Below on what you would like or give me a suggestion.

You can cross off NAEC as I will be running that starting in March. I could go for some Vettes, though. Veloster Multi Class?

What about running your DTM series.

NAEC is the first Saturday of the month. DTM will be all the other Saturdays.

I will offer one piece of advice: Mixed classes do not work with small series, as there aren't enough people in each class.

That being said, GT300 is usually a good draw, especially in default trim.

Okay. BTW I made a custom Number Board for your DTM series with the TORA TCR Logo. I can send it to you if you want. Its up to you if you want to use it or not.

I like the Forced Build/Tune Racing- Buick Regal TASCAR. Sounds like fun. Erebus also had an Aussie touring car thing he had all the tune on his SF.

I love the idea of Super 500, but I think "no tuning" should be left for the Spec series.

Ahh reet, just a little misleading, but still a cracking idea!

So far the votes including mine are as follows

2 for Super GT 500
1 for Super GT 300
1 for Regal TASCAR
1 for Corvette GTLM/GTD


I would love more imput guys.  It is a Community Event after all so vote.

How about suv/pickup racing?

That's been tried but there was no support for the series. Plus they are really bulky and hard to get each one equalized. I just don't think that it would be a series that the community would like. but if there is a good amount of demand for it then I might consider it.

SO Far GT500 is winning.  Make sure you get those votes in for what you want next.  The Next Series Registration will start the last Friday of the month and the next Series will start the second Friday of March

Hmm... if you want to try something really different, ditch the Regal (V6, Turbo, and no NASCAR swaps into it) and try the same build (PI/HP/weight) on an El Camino...

GT500 sounds like a fun class.
