The TEC returns in 2014 more details of our first event the 2014 Sebring 12 hours which will be run on Forza 4, will be posted later tonight stay tuned

A huge thanks to all drivers and teams that competed in what was an fantastic 2013 season, now for 2014 we are using forza motorsport 4 for our first event at Sebring, we do hope with the improvements been made to Forza Motorsport 5 to switch over to this platform at some stage but at the moment Forza Motorsport 4 will be used for the opening round of the 2014 TEC.

With this in mind we are unable yet to complete the announcement for the rest of the season, we will see the 24 Hours of Le Man's return, but we are unable to confirm the rest of the season at this stage but expect Spa, Bathurst, Silverstone and Green Hell to make an appearance as such championship points will be captured on team name but we may split our series into Forza 4 and Forza 5 points.

I hope you guys will enjoy the TEC in 2014. It has turned out to be our favourite events to run and whilst they are indeed difficult to manage and run, they are also incredibly epic and a joy to watch. The TEC will be covered Live again this season on our Livestream channel, and we will be looking for volunteer to help us host the events, stream the events, commentate throughout stints where we in the UK can't continue and work towards helping us make the TEC one of the most anticipated Forza Motorsport Championships of 2014.

Sebring will feature LMP1 and GTE.

We will not be enforcing the same car or class to be ran by teams at the endurance events as we did in 2013.

2014 MSA TORA 12 Hours of Sebring

The TEC returns for 2014 with the fifth annual running of the 12 Hours of Sebring. The race takes place over the weekend of the 29th and 30th of March. The Sebring race will feature the usual mix of Prototype and GTE classes of cars. LMP1 and GTE will be the two classes available, hopefully leading to more racing within each class and a better spread throughout the field. even if the mishaps are fixed on FM5, will the championship still continue on there even if there's low numbers?

Hopefully Team Jezza can try and defend its Sebring title, and this time hopefully on pure merit not lag!

I think a lot of teams will have difficulty committing to the full TEC season if there is uncertainty about how it will be scored and what game(s) will be used.

Warspite, the above quote is what made me think there was a full season but with parts yet to be finalised.

If there is no TEC season and no season titles then IMO each event has enough prestige to stand on it's own during this 'transition' year.
Also, IMO, the staff should not feel under any pressure to run it as a TEC season.

Season was just a way of saying a full year of the TEC under the same format just without scoring like the past years "Championship", was just making sure people understood what the difference in wording meant is all, yes you are correct and yes each event will be scored seperately, this just means:

A: Makes it easier for teams to organise drivers
B: Makes it easier for staff to track points &
C: If we wanted to switch from FM4 to FM5 later on in the year for a round, we can do so.

However this doesn't mean there won't be a round supported back on the old console, as I know people are strapped for cash or just don't want to spend money on a new luxury they don't need, therefor if there is a demand, I personally will remain behind to look after any FM4 activities.

I have to say that I agree with you Luke. These races have enough prestige on their own merit, thus with the console split, there is no real need for series points in this transition season.

If TORA is not going to run a full TEC championship why don't the community run it's own TEC championship for Forza 4 ?

I agree with the guys, there isn't a need in my opinion to have a championship table combining all the events. Winning a 12h, 24h, even a 6h event should be prestige enough

Can somebody send me the mandatory vynils, if their are any allready?
And is the date final of the 12 hours of Sebring?
