MSA TORA GT Season 11 - Season Update 11.05.2014

Dear all,

First of all thank you for support and feedback the past few weeks regarding the state of play with Forza 5 TORA GT championship.

I would like to get straight to the points of changes we are making to the series which will be effective immediately.

Myself and Richy have seen and heard from constructive criticism to the current car list and issues race pace in the cars effects the enjoyable aspects of the racing.

To tackle this effective immediately the engine swaps are now banned

We have reopened up all car choices to all entrys once more with this in mind and car swaps are now open

The Calendar has now been reduced to 6 rounds

16/03/14 – Production GT Media/Test Day
06/04/14 – Production GT Round 1 - Silverstone GP Round 1
20/04/14 – Production GT Round 2 - Catalunya GP Round 2
04/05/14 – Production GT Round 3 - Road Atlanta Full Round 3
18/05/14 – Production GT Round 4 - Sebring Full Round 4
01/06/14 – Production GT Round 5 - Spa Round 5
15/06/14 – Production GT Round 6 - Le Mans Bugatti Round 6

We really hoped that this series had not turned out the way it has, however fear not we have learnt from our mistakes and will be making sure we resolve these issues sooner.

Staff/Stewards/Marshals will be saving and passing on all relevant replays from future rounds and any data they find that may lead to us believing that car Engine swaps have taken place. All cars must use the standard engines with NO conversions allowed. All drivers/teams have a free swap available for the remaining 3 rounds.

We have used and continue to use this Season of the GTs as valuable testing data for Season 12.

So I have to use the V6 GTR?

Sad to see Road America taken off the schedule.  Hopefully for the next series there will be more tracks and the Porsche pack will have come out, or RUF can be added in.

+1 for all of this! Especially Porsche/RUF

Would have been happy to complete the full 10 round schedule but I understand the change. Hope T10 brings out some more cars and tracks for the next season.

Shame we cant complete the whole series, new system, new box, new game.......gonna be glitches! It will work out and we can get back to those epic battles like the BG Mclaren cup......Proper race cars.....no build...no tune...just balls of steel gentlemen...happy days
