19s are on the cards i expect the front runners to be in the 18s.

Haven't seen any Vipers post times yet. Is this going to be our crappy track? Just started testing an hour ago and I'm in 22's, so I assume there are some MUCH faster times out there considering how slow I am.   Just curious to see where the average Viper is at right now.

I seen one Viper in testing i believe it was Soundwave

I expect the 'average' drivers, those that will be in mid-pack, to be around 1:20s-low 1:21s regardless of car (balancing seems top notch so far). I'm only basing this off my time of 1:21.2 as I expect to be somewhere in the mid pack considering I finished smack bang in the middle of the field at Laguna Seca

Yeah, the balancing seemed great! But some tracks are just "easier" to drive in some cars. The good drivers can still get fast times no matter what. I'm just worried my middle of the pack result last race wasn't mostly due to having an "easy car" for Laguna! I've already cut my time to 21s this morning, so hopefully everyone doesnt get TOO much faster!

Managed a 1:21.1 with my Laguna Seca tune. I'd imagine I'll hit 1:20's before the 31st.

This is most definitely a BMW/Ferrari track.

1:21.1 in the 458 with XPR Venom's laguna setup.

Just got bored so i made a 458 tune, i done a 19.928, it's abit lively but its fast i will put that up for any Ferrari who wants to try

Yeah its good TORA has the best quality drivers! I put up that vette, i done a 19.8 but hit inside curb on T1 so its got a few tenths in it

Are people staying within the red lines all the way around on this track? I know I could get a 19 if I didn't but I'm not expecting to be too near the front anyway. Just want to make sure I'm not missing a trick here

There are several exploitable corners on this track that are outside of the track limits here but i do warn drivers that if you are seen to use these during the race or are reported you shall receive a punishment pending a steward inquiry.

So that's a stick in the red lines then!

You say track limits but as defined by the track and the series that race on it, have a slightly different meaning. Are we allowed two over the red? And one corner the cars get closer to the wall then what's allowed by TORA.

Also for pit exit, the cars stay to the right of the red line until turn 1. Not come on to the race line before turn one.

Just curious about why the "not acceptable" corners are such. The bumps slow you down and that first photo I'm pretty sure cutting it that much slows you down.

The corner that should be deamed "cutting", if any on Long Beach, should be Turn 1. Drivers should stay inside the red curbs and not use the pit exit.

Otherwise, if a lap is clean, that's good enough in my opinion.

Exploiting corners is part of racing. Just watch the TUDOR race from earlier this year on Long Beach.
