Connor, you are correct... this can be run as teams of one, two, three or four drivers. At one hour stints, it opens the door for all sorts of possibilities depending on one's preferences and situation.

Yes, same mileage formula.

Hoping for a good track - IMO it needs to be somewhere with enough of a laptime differential between the classes and lots of passing opportunities.

Maple Valley, Laguna Seca, Nur GP, Silverstone International and Motegi East all spring to mind as good options (as long as people respect the kerbs at MV).

MV gets my pick, had enough of the other tracks recently...

Actually... the track of choice will see more back and forth as the lap times are close. Corner speed and straightaway speed is where the differential will be. If MV didn't have a history full of overturned racers and race ending wrecks, I would go with it as I love that track.

Edit: I thought I had a clear cut choice, but I now have to rethink a bit, as another relatively underused circuit now springs to mind....

Not a fan of this idea.

Multi class racing always works better when there is a clear differential between the classes otherwise you end up with drivers battling for track position with cars they aren't really racing against.
Especially with the track having a bias towards lighter cars, you could easily end up with the leading C Class cars battling around some of the slower B Class cars.

Unless you're planning to score the classes together? In which case, is there any reason not to choose a B Class Car that has the potential to go faster?

^ I see and understand your reservations about that idea. The point was to have both classes so equalised by circuit that most everyone would be battling someone most every lap, regardless of in class or not.

One thing I do like about Tsukuba is from about 15 minutes on, you'd be in some sort of traffic for the rest of the stint, which could make the hour seem to go by in short order.
