TORA US Superstock Challenge - Rules and Regulations

Motor racing as defined by TORA, is a non contact sport. It is understandable that on occasion some contact may occur that is not expected by either party, for example due to lag. Competitors with 'lag' issues will not be penalized, but may be asked to improve their connection, if the issue is persistently hindering other's experiences please see connection section.

TORA expects competitors who partake in its championships and meetings to behave in an appropriate and respectable manner. Insulting comments or behavior towards fellow competitors and race stewards is unacceptable and will be dealt with severely. Also respectable on-track etiquette is expected of all competitors, including on-track battles, track limits etc.


2015 TORA.US Superstock Challenge [TSTK]

Based on Continental Challenge Series racing, the TORA Superstock Challenge is a Multi-Class event featuring the Gran Sport or GS class, and the Street Tuner or ST class, racing simultaneously. TSTK will take place between the 27th of January and the 10th of March in a 6 round championship. The series will have two championships up for grabs.

DRIVER CHAMPIONSHIP

This will be a championship fought by each driver for themselves. The total amount of points at the end of the series will be their final points total and will result in their position in the overall drivers standing at the end of the series.

TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP

A team will be made up of a minimum of 2, and maximum of 3 drivers, all driving the same car and livery design in the same class. This championship will be scored by the total points scored by the top two team drivers at each round over the course of the championship.

6 HOUR of Sebring.
The 6 hour of Sebring will be a standalone event, more details coming closer to the event.

TORA Liveries rules are as stated in the TORA Sporting Regulations.

There will not be a number box for this series. However there WILL be a Tora US Superstock Challenge placard that can be downloaded from the store of XPR Moontower,by searching keyword TSTK. the Placard is to be placed on the sides, and front and rear bumper. The left hand side of the placard will be blank, it is the responsibility of the individual painter to download and place the TORA US Logo within the box.

Race Rules

Race Meeting Set-Up

We ask that all competitors are on Xbox live 15 minutes prior to the start of the race session, and be appearing online. Anyone who is not online, or not attempted to accept a game invite will not take part in the event. All competitors must post "In" in the relevant thread in order to be accepted into the event. If a connection issue is apparent please contact the race director or lobby host as soon as possible and they will do their best to ensure you can connect to the qualifying lobby.

QUALIFYING

Qualifying will be set to 7 laps with 1 warm up lap followed by 5 flying laps and 1 lap to take down the times.

RACE

There will be 1 race in an evening and each will last around 45 minutes dictated by a lap count .

Race One will form up in the order in which the competitors qualified.


All races will be Rolling Starts, with one sighting lap to be held at a 55 MPH limit, until the last car in lobby clears the last corner and gives a clear 1, 2, 3 GO.

The top three drivers in Qualifying will score extra points.

Hard Charger Award
There will be 1 extra point awarded to the person in each lobby that overtakes the most drivers during the course of the race. If there is a TIE, the extra point will be awarded to the higher finishing racer.

Quickest race lap.
There will be 1 extra point awarded to the fasted race lap set in each lobby.

Placard is up under 'TSTK' I recommend placing it size .05 front and back, and .10 on the sides, just under the mirrors. But first you need the white TORA US logo to put on the blank part of the placard.
