So I have seen it a few times up here, but no one asked this question....

What was the thought process in not allowing Ironmen to race the whole race?

I ask just because I have done more than a few endurance races in the past, sitting 8 hours in one stint in a 24 of Daytona (using Sunset) race. I thought the challenge of running 1000km would be awesome.

We are running it either way, LOL. If an Ironman could not take the challenge, they would drop out mid race anyway, right?

This is done because double stinting (or in this case quadruple stinting) has caused many time delays in the past on endurance racing.

I'm fine to make any of the sessions, however I know that there's at least one person that can't make any.

Is there any chance we could get a qualification session a few hours before the race or perhaps work out something out?

We want all qualifying to be done and the grid to be set on Thursday (Friday for you), but I can host a later session on either Tuesday or Thursday if it is requested.

Is it this Sunday for Bathurst or next Sunday iv been looking for a date but cant see one anywhere lol..

it should be in the rules that that everything has to be done be for midnight Friday be for the race it was not made clean and now I am being told I can not race today I am very angry that it was not made clear that you had to sign in be for 12 midnight be for the race

What car are you in? I could help on second stint if you just need another driver. Also, I could let you have one of mine, with our bmw, if it is ok with the marshals....

this falls down to Deftone and considering race is basically now i doubt he would be able 2 let it happen
