We are bringing back the 1st and 2nd place finishers at the VLN24 race for this year's Pro GT Series, but with a twist. LMR Blue Dragon will be running in the BMW now! Here are the cars:

Maynard that totally depends on how good his connection is if hes ethernet and has FibreOptic and atleast 30+ Download Speed id say hed be fine but meh

mines 20Mbps download without ethernet cause its always plugged into the Xbone haha

The event organisers have asked everyone who is streaming to please not use the Twitch App but a capture card instead. If you don't have a CC, you're not allowed to stream. Demz da rulzz.

Then it needs to be put in the rules. This system runs off cloud servers, 1000 x the power of a 360... It should not slow the connection that much, as it has not caused issues in any series or race that I have done before on the 360. But, if it's a rule, then it is what it is. However, the whole point of an Xbox one was to do things just like this... the real issue is due to poor internet quality and connections... That has been noted on multiple forums across the Internet...

I'm not upset. Lmao! Totally see how that can be read into. I was just stating the point of the issue. If drivers lag out, generally it is due to their own poor connection, due to the advancements of the gaming platform itself.

Also, reasons like this is why I have massive rule books in place to answer any question. When someone starts arguing, I just point them to section blah, blah, blah and keep on trucking!

PTG VIPs #790 seen testing at Silverstone
Amateur photographer Sean McManus spotted PTG VIPs #790 C6R back home in the UK. The UK Based Pro/Am GTE team just got to the country from Australia. Not laying down, they took to the track at Silverstone to get some testing in before round number 2 of the TORA ProGT Championship to be held in a fortnight at the UK's Grand Prix track.











Timing the laps, we found PervasiveFall, AM Driver for the team running pretty consistent 204s before heading back to the pits.

Plus - luckily I do have a capture card to stream from FM5!  LOL.

only way it could be any better was to have the right side logos done so they weren't reversed. But it really stood out  at Bathurst - Awesome job on the liverys.

The reason why we have asked people to not stream through the Xbox isn't due to network speeds at all, but rather the power of the Xbox itself. I have 10Mbps upload (50 down) and have lagged a lobby during the early FM5 events, causing massive collision de-sync (only 20% of my upload speed was used by the stream, leaving approx. 8Mbps free). The Xbox simply doesn't have enough power to manage 10+ connections as well as a 2Mbps stream. Yes, there are times where it can work smoothly, but EVERYONE must have a fast, stable connection to the lobby, which is almost never the case when racing. Capture cards still work fine as long as the user has a decent upload speed.

It's simply because we have had major issues arise in the past from streaming, and we need to minimize the risk of such issues happening again so everyone has a fair shot at success.
