TCR European IndyCar: Race Format and points scoring stystem

Qualifying- Qualifying will be 10 minutes long. Lobbies will be set to 15 minutes. Once the 10 minutes are over drivers are to finish the lap they are on and meet up at turn 1 for time recording. ONLY CLEAN LAPS WILL COUNT! Dirty laps will place drivers at the back of the field. Should there be more than 1 driver recording dirty laps they will be placed in order on lap time.

Race 1- The race will consist of a number of laps that total to the average finishing time being 35 minutes or less.  

Race 2- Will be grided by the point standings leading into the nights racing (Round 1 being the exception where there will be an additional qualifying session.) the rest of the race will be ran the same as Race 1.

Rolling Starts (The same as US IndyCar)

7.4.4 The grid will start under rolling start, competitors will be instructed to drive in single file at speeds that do not exceed 100 MPH (160 KPH), Race control reserves right to lower maximum speed if needed.
7.4.5 Upon on reaching a predetermined point on circuit drivers will be instructed to form side by side at speeds that do not exceed 60 MPH (96KPH)
7.4.6 The driver in pole position will ask if the last place driver is lined up in formation and the lead drivers will accelerate after instructing “Green Green Green”, race conditions will begin upon “Green Green Green!” command.
Pace Car - Driver
7.4.7 The Pace Car Driver is responsible for the safe operation of the Pace Car at the direction of Control. The Pace Car Driver must take steps to ensure that the Pace Car is utilized correctly as per race director or Lobby Host instructions.

Points

Points will follow the same as the 2015 Verizon IndyCar Series (excluding each lap lead and Qualifying points is altered)
If teams of 3 enter, the top two scoring drivers will score points in the teams championship.

Double race finish points are awarded for the Indianapolis 500® Mile Race and the last Event of the season.
