IRL Indycar Series 2009

The season has started, Ryan Briscoe won round 1 at St Petersburg with Justin Wilson finnishing third in a Dale Coyne car!

Hopefully the ex-champ car teams such as Newman/Hass/Lanigan Racing, KV racing etc can play with the big boys this season. Also, Dario Franchitti returns to Indycar in a Chip Gannasi after a horrid year in NASCAR. He will be driving the #10 Air Wick car, which is very reminiscent of his Team Green car from CART of 1998-2001 .

You may have noticed that Helio Castroneves isnt racing, thats because he got caught Tax Evading, which is pretty serious, so perhaps we might see him racing in South America or Europe very soon

or perhaps we might never hear from him again..
