Haha I don't know about that, I thought I was wicked off the pace, but don't get me wrong, every 8th lap or so like that ends in a pretty catastrophic spin. It's hard to talk myself into tuning with the time it takes, gotta go back to the pits, fiddle with some things I don't understand, set back out down the pit lane, few laps to get the tires up, just to see how much damage I did with my fiddling. Futile god dam enterprise.

That's testing
One tip I picked up from one Mr McNish once was to only change one thing at a time then test it. If you do a wholesale change to the set up and it makes it worse then it's far harder to pinpoint what exactly it was that went wrong.

True enough. Though as I said with only a few hours in the game it was just as important for me to get used to a car and the mechanics before making changes I didn't understand. But I'm gonna tweak tonight, try to figure out some 2:18's.

So, done with tuning. Improved myself from a high 2:31.xxx to a 2:29.580

Posted a 2:18:1 in qually...felt like I was going pretty quick,,,but some chaps putting in 2:15s!!! i cant get my head round it,,lol

Any chance one of those said chaps could post a video of a flying lap? am stuggling and the guide would be very helpful, as i must be doing a couple of corners very wrong indeed.

Is a 17.9 any good for the Aston? I'm on PC but just wanted to know?
