Re: Silverstone 500 Thread
I second that Webbers. The glitches were far more prevalent in this race than any other, I'd say affecting about 1 in 3 racers or more. Some people even had reoccurring glitches. Between the two races I suffered three instances of bouncing suspension (the worst one lasting for half a lap) and a bug on the pits that would not allow me to confirm a fuel adjustment, giving me a full load.
Regardless, people still seemed to have intense races. Even with all my bugs, it must have affected others much worse as I believe I won lobby 2.
Thank you to everyone at TORA for another event. You did your best! Now, may I highly suggest that we never return to Silverstone until we know that these things are fixed?

Re: Silverstone 500 Thread
I enjoyed tonight, even with a few disasters like having the lobby run flags & penalties, two 5 second penalties that I shouldn't have had and the spin through maggots/becketts but hey ho, that's racing! I'm happy with 6th, could've had 4th if things had gone a little better. Well done to my team mate F4H Micko for in stint 2, great driving bud. Hopefully we can now keep it in top lobby for the rest of the season.
Congrats to F4H Eggy & F4H Diablo on the victories in GT4.
Thanks to all hosts

Thanks for doing the hosting Collin, and very patient of you seeing as you had to just chill for 42 laps,,lol
Good racing in lobby three....drama free(couple of lag issues and a glitch or two though). Thanks all and am looking forward to the next round.

Re: Silverstone 500 Thread
LMR Gullwing experienced spring glitches at 3 separate occasions throughout the race, with the least impacting one losing us 30+ seconds. To still squeeze out with 3rd place is such a triumphant feeling!
Happy to have host lobby 3 for you guys. Glad everything worked smoothly. Always a pleasure Greg

Not mention the time we lost getting blockd by someone who jumped the start
Re: Silverstone 500 Thread
I did not jump the start look at the replay... I did not overtake anyone until after the start finish line

Re: Silverstone 500 Thread
Bogey circuit for Aston it seems! Got sandwiched between two spinners at Aintree on lap 1 which put me way back.
I knew I wasn't going to be on the same pace so just plugged away for the stint and tried to stay consistent.
Only further issue was a momentary controller disconnect under braking for Brooklands and running out of fuel literally as I crossed the finish.

Re: Silverstone 500 Thread
well thanks to lagging out in qualifying i had a fairly dull race in lobby c, but at least for once i didn't have any game issues!
looks like pcars is much better suited to enduro racing over forza with fuel weight actually being a factor, and concentration level very important

My feedback went from my wheel as I entered the pits....was in a right flap jumping up to pull the plug to get it reset before the game spat me back out on-track..
The joys.....

Re: Silverstone 500 Thread
I don't know what to say really? I got DQ in Stint 1 when the penalties shouldn't have been on so I lost 1/4 of a stints worth of Racing which more than likely cost me in the Overall then I get disconnected in Stint 2 on Lap 32. Honestly I shouldn't have bloody raced
Re: Silverstone 500 Thread
Bit annoyed to be honest. As much as I loved racing last night, I got pitched into 4 rolls across the night because of glitches. I also had a glitch where the left rear went down, similar to a puncture or suspension collapse but then it would sort itself out and then another glitch where going down Hanger Straight, I had new tyres put on my car and my fuel went from 23L to 58L. Bit gutted as these glitches cost me a lot of time in some cases but nevermind. Onwards to Spa

Thats what testing is for, i found my Z4 did it every 15 laps, you didnt need to waste time changing tires as tire wear was off. all you had to do to stop the glitch was to pit the lap before it happened and put 1L, this would reset the car and you could do another 15 laps from my point. different cars lasted different times, i found out the faster your times the quicker it happened. people should have been a bit more aware off this prior to the race and figured when there car was going to do it. i kinda lost out because of that fact i had to pit twice both stints but it paid off and i finished 2nd overall as i laughed at people while it happened

Re: Silverstone 500 Thread
Are SMS currently aware of that glitch? If not I'll speak to them and pass the details on

I wondered what happened to you, we were having a good close battle, especially when Meado and Top secret got involved too. What a battle that was and all very fair. I've shared it to my AFeed if anyone's interested in taking a look.

Re: Silverstone 500 Thread
yes Matt about 2 weeks ago people had posted about it originally in the BMW's as they occurred the fastest. thats why i posted the other week about the problem but no one seemed to pay much attention but those who speak to me. it could be an issue on other tracks so its worth telling them for any future endurance races. im sure python or collin told me last night it happens at brno after 28 laps in some car.

because I haven't got all the results in yet.
I hadn't been told you were a DNF so had to assume DNS until told otherwise
I'll update your results
anything else that needs updating let me know
cant fix it if I don't know its broken
Re: Silverstone 500 Thread
TORA!!! I had a great time racing last night. I loved our lobby and host was so nice. The lobby males are cheerful, laid back, and funny. It makes a huge difference with all the problems in the game.
I experience the same glitches ESP stint 1. It was not frustrating though because it was just fun to race with great guys:
ATR Dan, Snoop, Spac and Fries, Montessa Mike, FreHeliaz
The moment of silence for Jules Bianchi was touching.
#JB17
Also thank you TjSteel for trying to get my friends number approved.
He can race next time.
