Touring Masters - Pre Season Cup

This will be a 2 round Cup consisting of 1 Feature race (1 x roughly 45mins race) and 1 Sprint race (3 x roughly 15mins races).

April 21 - Nurburgring GP - 17 laps
Due to TEC Qualifying Conflict, Rd 1 will begin at 9PM BST.

April 28 - Road Atlanta Club - 3 x 12 laps

This cup will not count towards the official championship so why is it important?
It provides you with an insight to this championship so you can gauge whether it is something you will be interested in.
It allows us to see how the cars perform on track together rather than purely in testing.
It enables us to get your feedback on numerous details; car builds/balancing, new rules ideas, start procedure, points balancing and any other general opinions you may have, all of which are welcome.

As the Pre Season Cup will be mainly used to help with car balancing there will be a car cap in place of 2 drivers per car (this will not be the case when the official series starts).

There will be no team entries allowed for the Pre Season Cup.

Although this is a non-official championship, drivers who come 1st, 2nd and 3rd will be allowed to use the driver numbers 1 (1st), 2 (2nd) and 3 (3rd) when the official championship starts if they so wish.

I know you will probably scorn me but can I suggest success ballast as it did a pretty descent job in the rallycross.
Balancing the cars is very difficult but the ballast balances the drivers too.

There is no car cap for the actual championship only for the pre season cup (so the majority, if not all cars are tested in pre season)
