The TORA Touring Masters is the next major series on the road for myself. The Warsteiner BMW will be hopefully the European Timezone entry, but for North America, im hopefully going all Australian.

Never raced a Holden before, and created for the homologation rules which was the 'in thing' in the 1980's, this is the road going version of the ATCC Commodore, used between '86 and '92. Sponsorship coming from Wheelwash Racing Media the ultimate Stock Car Racing library. Yet to run a lap in anger, and the hood is in need of some inspiration, but it filled the gap for the Texas rain delay.

US Timezone saw another Lobby Two appearance, on Pole having missed out on lobby one by 0.05 seconds. The big Holden had nothing to handle the whizzy Trueno's from the Ax4x and the M3's and to compound the misery, i destroyed the #16 hitting the pit wall very hard, in fact so hard it took me a good minute to reverse a few feet, find a forward gear and build the revs enough to kangaroo hop into Pit Lane

Better late than never i guess, from last Thursday and Lobby Two for the VTCC Holden which loved the straight bits of Monza, the same cant be said of the tight chicanes, like trying to steer the mother in law through the market day traffic. It was a good night of entertainment though, one of those friendly lobbies that make it all worth while.

A few shots also from Lobby 2 of the US Touring Masters, a tough night for the Holden Commodore, the wrong end of luck in the opening two races and race three was just peppered with personal mistakes, meaning finishes of 9th, 9th and 10th. Good lobby though, races all in good atmosphere which is what its all about in my eyes.
