Well, Tony George looks set to finaly kill off american open wheel racing, and he has already commenced the 4 year self destruct mechanism.

He did state that in 2013 he would pull the plug on the IRL if it was not profitable.
Anyways, the indy 500 is nearly here, we may aswell use this thread to discuss it, yay! etc.
