FORZA 3 - Car & Track list

I will be using a GTR as well.

Granted GT5 probably has MORE cars buuuut FM3 will no doubtedly have more DIFFERENT cars. So while we have 400+ there will for sure be a better variety.
Also in one of the presentations they did say about a greater variety of race based cars from all round the world. While I'm still expecting to see a vast majority of the ALMS grid to be in the game plus some great sportscars from the past, as is the norm. I'm also expecting to see more in the way of European and Japanese based race material.

I imagine we will get more details on the race cars in the near future buuuut with the deal with Audi, their sportscars are even more of a certainty

There might be a need for some more LMP2's, as georgeous as that Mazda is, I wouldn't mind seeing the RS Spyder, in both DHL and Van Merkstein liveries. I also wouldn't mind seeing some Aussie V8 Supercar content, but I can dream can't I

Also, we need blank versions of each race car to paint!

And we need some Group C machinery please!

Ahhhhhh yes I did forget the RS Spyder!! I'm certain that will be in what with being an ALMS winner.
As for the painting I guess it may depend on licensing etc but here's hoping!!
It'd be good to at least see the road versions of the Aussie V8's even if not the race cars (Do Codies still hold the license there?)

doesnt matter about blanks. u will be able to paint over any car. race liveried or not. Im wondering wether they will put any race liveries on race cars other than the Audis.

well atleast thats what ive heard that ul be able to paint over every car. I recorn ul get the top cars in each category. Besides the stock liveries are a bit messy in places anyway.

Player made ones are much cleaner.

lol, I do agree with you but then again you can't beat the real thing all the time. The Alpina GT3's are things of gorgeousness as are the Brixia Astons and of course the stunningly simple GTR

im part way through the alpina gt3's on the new M3, the green and blue ones? need pics of the skirt though.

i tihnk they aid you can paint any car in the gamev(even racers) and there will be such things as a c-class touring car. also genson mentioned the GTR gt car, i heard there will be no GTR because nissan said no lol

yeah thats true cos its seperate to nissan, and they wanted no damage, no mods, no paint and no rollovers, so FM said we dont want it!

Well, its in GT5 and it now has damage so I don't see how that is any different to having it in Forza 3

Although in Gran Turismo you cant race some cars as they are 'special', in GT4 you cant race the Caterham..

or the auto union car

You do know, FM3 might allow us to change AWD cars to RWD without removing the engine. Compared to FM2, where if a car could allow you to change the car to say RWD.

Then the engine would also need to be changed. Also not all Nissan's are AWD, which means there is a good chance a car like the GT-R can be converted to RWD.

But only if it is in the game of course.

yeah. its not in the game...FM2 had an exclusive with nissan in order to promote their products...hence the 350z on the cover, Nissan speedway...etc. etc...

i'd imagine that because polyphony digital designed the on board telemetry system for the GTR, GT5 probably got the exclusive.

I think FM3 has a good chance to have the GT-R, since the GT-R is in Need for Speed: Shift.

You can't say that something WILL or WILL NOt be in the game until we have it in our hands. But it does sounds plausable, but like TVR and Jenson sais its been in other games already so I don;t see why it won't be in FM3, especially as the new 370z will be in it.
