TORA Suzuka 10 Hours フラッシュバック - Drivers Briefing

Welcome to the newest TORA endurance event, the Suzuka 10 Hours! The circuit was conceptualized in the 1960's by Soichiro Honda (Yes, that Honda) because he realized how important racing would be to his company.  Though the layout of the circuit has stayed relatively the same, Suzuka has had several changes since Honda and renown designer John Hugenholtz finished the circuit in 1962.

Qualifying - This will be the shortest qualifying format other than Bathurst for 2019 Endurance. Drivers will have 30 minutes to set their fastest clean lap.  We will be adding the best qualifying results from each team, so remember that more than one driver has to take part in qualifying. Be sure to read the updated qualifying rules!

Race - This is a 10-hour Endurance race. Drivers will be competing in 5 stints of two hours each. However, drivers are reminded that the race actually only lasts 1 hour and 45 minutes. Drivers are reminded that they are to use THE STINT THREAD to assign stints to each of their drivers.  Drivers are expected to be familiar with the rules and regulations come race time, so please review them before stint 1 begins.

Pit Stops - 3 stops for all cars - teams that did not qualify must take a 4th stop at the end of the first racing lap in stint 1. Drivers are not permitted to pit for a mandatory pit stop during the last 10 minutes of the stint. Once the race timer passes 25 minutes left, the pits are closed. Please use the full pit entrance and exit lines. Failure to adhere to this will result in an instant 5000ft penalty, no warning.

Stint Starting Procedures - Stint 1 will start with a typical 80 mph 2x2 Rolling Start following an out lap at 80 mph.  Stints 2 through 5 will be a single file start, starting as drivers pass the end of the kerbing out of the exit of First Corner. (See picture below for reference.)

Correct.

When the race clock says 15 minutes left, stop as quickly as possible without crashing.

Race regs for collisions to remove tyre barriers?
Pit exit stay within the blend line?

Race regs don't work in a timed race.

Yes, use the full blend lines. I will edit that in now.

From the rules & regulations:
