The 458 Italia? so it's supposed to be the replacement for the F430, but i'm not quite so sure how good of a GT2, or maybe even GT1 car it would make. For one, it would look pretty awkward, two, the triple exhaust would just look too flashy on it, three, I'M GOING TO MISS THE GOOD OLE' F430 SOUND! gah it just saddens me to even think about it, especially since the F430GT sound was just so... Ferrari. Idk about you guys, but i'm gonna miss the F430GT being the true manufactures car.

It'll only be matter of time before the Italia replace the 430 for sure but it's still going to be a few years yet.
Don't forget too that Ferrari chose not to replace the 575 with the 599 even now. Despite requests.
I'd imagine a development programe for the 458 is probably underway as GT2/3 seems to be a key market for Ferrari but I'd still like to bet you wont see the first racing versions for two years.
They have just switched the aero packs over to the Scud so there should eb sopme mileage in that for now.

I think the 458 will be a far better car for racing, then the 430 GT. Also I like the sound of the new Ferrari 458.

it think it's too much personally. The F430 was, to me, the essence of the Ferrari sportscar line up.

It took two, three years for the F430 GT2 to be replace the old NGT class 360 once the road car was released. So expect a 458 Italia in mabey 2011 or 2012.

I like the 458 a lot, and it's going to look insane in racing trim, I can't wait.

and the 430RGT didn't sound too special to me
