Re: Championship Discussion
I'm guessing there's no way to suggest for championships starting soon, so I'm appealing to the summer starting TCC calender.
I'm a little disappointed at the lack of Iberian, Ladera and possibly Camino circuits on the Touring Masters Championship. In particular Iberian, which has aspects of Oulton Park and Brands Hatch if it were the reverse version. I ask that in the TCC calender if we could have 1 or some of these in the calender as I believe these circuit would be epic on the touring car circuit.
Thanks for listening (reading)

Suzuka West should be ok rather than Suzuka East with the main pits straight! I can understand why yourself and a few others don't like it!

Do you have something against Suzuka Full???!
Re: Championship Discussion
I have nothing against the full Suzuka circuit. I love the place, but I don't think it's ideal for touring cars. Its a bit........long. Hense why we don't have circuits like Silverstone GP etc.
If it was up to me, then I would love to run round the full circuits in the touring cars.

Re: Championship Discussion
I also think the Iberian International Circuit should be included into the Touring Car Championship and other TORA championships. Its a fantastic little circuit

Re: Championship Discussion
The circuit choice is designed to vary with smaller, quicker circuits than the longer ones we run in the GTs, etc.
However, as we run with limited damage at this level, we need tracks with a pit in order to be considered, to allow people to repair their cars if needs be.

Re: Championship Discussion
I have always said add Camino Viejo de Montserrat Extreme Circuit Reverse, because not only does it add great racing. But it also tests a lot of skills.
Re: Championship Discussion
A bit of bumpage here, but I agree with pebb. The extreme circuit reminds me of San Luis, and you just have to watch TC2000 around there to see how awsome a TORA TCC race around Camino Viejo could be.

Re: Championship Discussion
The point of the TCC is short, quick races compared to the longer tracks of the GT and LMS races. While elements of the Camino tracks may be used, the extreme track certainly won't be.

Re: Championship Discussion
Okay, fair enough, but if you look back into touring car history, all the classic races were the big long circuits. The Spa 24 Hours, the old Brno, the DTM at the Nordschleife, The WTCC/ATCC/V8 Supercars at Mt Panorama..
Or mabey im just an 80's throwback

I hope there are no sidewinder tracks cause I can't bloody install them anymore! Anyway they have no pits so it's safe to say they won't be in
Camino, Ladera and Iberian short tracks are a lot of fun I agree.
Re: Championship Discussion
No the sidewinder tracks are not being used for the TCC nor is Camino, Ladera or Iberain.

Whey all of them are GT tracks, unless you mean the shirt version of them, except for Bugatti.

Re: Championship Discussion
Ladera and Iberian should be on the calander. they are perfect TCC tracks and they have pit lanes. And Nick, they are a variety of the versions.
Re: Championship Discussion
Iberian only has 3 corners you need to brake for and none of them are overtaking opportunities. It would have been a procession. I am glad we are racing mainly on the real tracks. Camino would have been the better choice ahead of Iberian and Ladera.
