Following the contractual difficulties revealed earlier, THR can now issue the first pictures of its all new SL65 AMG Blacks that were undergoing private testing in Spain this afternoon.
While details on times were not revealed, the team announced their satisfaction with the general state of the car.
It was repeatedly pointed out that this is an all new car with no previous race mileage. THR is the sole 'works' developer of the 'Black' and as such is seeing the 2010 GT3 season as a development year. Despite these reservations, hopes seemed quietly high for the new car.

Two cars were used for the test. SL65/02 will be used as jenson09's race chassis (red flashes), while SL65/03 (yellow flashes) is intended as Selective Rogue's race car.
A third chassis was under construction at THR's Weston-super-Mare HQ for use by Chucky1982. It is anticpated another three tubs will be supplied by Mercedes for use as spare chassis to cover accident damage.
