THR join forces with Citroen Empty THR join forces with Citroen




For the upcoming TORA Le Mans Series THR has chosen to join forces with multiple World Rally Champions Citroen to run their assault on the TRC.
This campaign will be using the highly successful Citroen C4. THR as secured the rights to run the Group N version of the car as Citroen scale down their WRC spec version ahead of the debut of the DS3 WRC in 2011.
The Group N machines will have the full support of the WRC's Red Bull team and will appear in those colours but under the Red Bull Citroen THR banner.

The drivers will be Selective Rogue and jenson09.

Expect a more detailed release in due course but rest assured with the might of Citroen behind the team, THR will be settling for nothing less than victories in the tarmac rallies.

THR today released the first images of the Citroen in testing. The location was kept a guarded secret but it was revealed that jenson09 was at the wheel with the second car being made ready for Selective Rogue in the near future.
Initial reports from the driver claimed the car was fun to drive.

THR Citroen have been out testing again, this time in Italy in readiness for the Media Day.
Progress with the car was good and there no significant issues for the car although a slight run in with a barrier saw the team having to make hasty repairs to the front end of the car late in the test.
The team will also be working on new aero parts in the time prior to the first test.

Thanks Richy. I finished it off today. The Citroen chevrons took bloody AGES!!!! But I think they look good Smile
I am going to attempt the HyMotion duel livery soon too. That should appear on the car at some stage during the season.

It is very nice, and seeing all these cars makes me want to make a car for this even if I don't really run in it. Imagine a Rizla Focus RS up against the proper Citreon team Wink

I assume that the forza back wing on that car looks as rediculous on the C4 as it does on all the other Hatchbacks?
