Yeah, but the problem with the Insignia isnt that Gow is stopping it from entering, it wont be ready till later in the year.

I think that's more to do with equality and stability of the championship at that time. It wouldn't be fair bringing in a pure NGTC car where the current field will be all S2000 with NGTC engines, S2000, or BTC-spec cars. If you brought in an NGTC car that turned out to be more powerful than the current crop and it started taking points positions when the championship is reaching deciding point, that could rile the existing teams.

Now, I do not follow any racing besides NASCAR, so when I think of "Porn in the BTCC", I was waiting for some purdy lady on a SEAT. I am still waiting...

But even if an NGTC car did come in and was more powerful, TOCA could just easily turn down the boost with these new 2ltr Turbo's.
