I posted a 1:31:001 around Laguna but I'm going to do some tuning and get half a second out of it so that I'm not completely uncompetitive.

yeah i had a go last night but this time i put mainly handling upgrades on and i was more happier with the balance of the car so im gonna keep trying but im still only setting 1:33s

i know but it needs speed aswell so if i make it good for corners it wont be good on the straights!ill see if i can do anything for it

You need acceleration and grip for Laguna Seca but not speed as there are no long straights where you'd get any benefit. Make sure you're dropping as much weight as you can get away with...it will improve the car pretty much everywhere on the track.

yep thats exactly what i done thanks for the advice! im gonna have a practice later and try get down to about 1:32s i might just sacrifice a bit of handling for a bit of speed but i will try to keep it as light as possible

If I had enough credits I wouldn't mind helping out (testing and tuning is what I like the most in this game), but i couldn't even afford the R8 LMS for yesterday's FLM race. Also I am not sure AJ would be ok with that.

It's tough to get credits in this game, I hate the career mode, am no great painter and to sell tunes, you need a name, even a fake one.

i aint a great tuner but im a good racer so if i get a good tune off someone im normally A lobby now (was B lobby last year).

i did get a good tune on the opel for round one after quli! lol

Btw ive done a 1.30.1 with the lotus so far mines got a supercharger, is it the way to go?

anyone else with Laguna times?
V12 Vantage - 1:29.392 ...but i lost about a tenth on exit of final corner. this car is going to take aLOT of finesse to get around this track

Grow some balls and keep it out of the walls

Every build I tried came out at roughly the same so I'd stick with whichever one you feel comfortable with. The track is insane though, feels like a rollercoaster in parts and clipping the grass on the inside of the last turn has resulted in a couple of impromptu pitstops.
