Help! Where to sit!? Empty Help! Where to sit!?

Post by ckBrenneke Thu 13 Jan 2011 - 12:11

I need help. I am about to buy tickets for the British GP, but can't decide where to sit! There's not much left in my price range, just uncovered seating at Stowe C and the National Pit Straight. If we go to Stowe, then we can see the cars coming down Hanger Straight and round up to the new Pit Straight. If we go to the National Pit Straight, we can see the old pit complex which is being used for the supports, the cars exiting Woodcote and through to Copse.

But having never been before, other than a brief visit to the World Series by Renault, I am at a loss as to where to go. I'm buying three day tickets for the missus and I, so excluding parking, £400 is my budget.

It's a toughy and really it's all about how far away from the cars you'll be.
I'd have said Club if there were any seats left!
Stowe is not too bad but you tend to be quite far away from the action. You will probably see the cars for the most time though. The old pit straight is only worth it if you can get more to the Woodcote end as you'll see them all through Brooklands, Luffield, Woodcote and down the straight into Copse. For me that's always been the best place. Take the opportunity to walk the circuit as well as the remaining public areas aren't too bad. Wink
