NGTC Meeting 7 Discussion Thread - Silverstone International

Tuesday 05/04/11 is Meeting 7, Round 13 & 14 at Silverstone International starting at 20:00GMT

Race Format

Qualifying

4 Laps (1 out lap, 2 hot laps, 1 in lap)

Race 1 (Round 11)

Laps TBA (Approx 10 mins)

Standing Start

The grid will form in the order of fastest qualifying time first, where possible.

Race 2 (Round 12)

Laps TBA (Approx 20 mins)

Standing Start

The grid will form in reverse order of the race results with the 1st place person going up a lobby and last place person going down a lobby

Example
Results from race 1
A lobby - 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 B Lobby - 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 C lobby - 11, 12, 13, 14, 15

A lobby - 4, 3, 2, 1, 6 B lobby B - 5, 9, 8, 7, 11 C Lobby - 10, 15, 14, 13, 12

Due to work, I am going to be late home for this. I should be home for the races but will miss qualy.

Unfortunately I'm out tonight, but I've posted the Live Timing board ready for it, with suggested possible lobby hosts. These are by no means set in stone, so please be prepared to be flexible tonight. Sorry I can't be there to help out; I'll be hunting Jedi in Leicester Square!

Utterly awesome race last night between myself Scot. Panel bashing at its best yet I dont think there were any completely unfair passes. A good few Plato-esque moves by me at Becketts mind

Threw a few up the inside myself mate, and employed a few cutbacks here and there. Thoroughly enjoyable.

Car lacked top end speed but didnt do to bad.Havent changed the tune since Laguna Seca so was set up more for corners.At the end of the second race could get low 1.25's which i was happy with.

I'm suprised not many people noticed there was quite a significant change in the paintwork for my car! Stonewall picked up on it, but all I done was put a load of Angry Birds around my car! (Absolutely ADDICTED to Angry Birds!! So addicted, that I've even bought the plush toys and when they come I am gonna make up a few levels and smash the pigs in!!!)

Well, what can I say, that was one of the most intense races I've ever had, after a few knocks on the first lap (watch the replay) I came back from 1000ft to wrestle with the other two to win the race.
The win was irrelevant as I,ve never been in such close contact with two other cars for so many corners, cut backs, late lunging, out braking it was all in there.
For sheer entertainment value I can recommend watching the replay from lap 11.
Once again its been a pleasure racing with you lads.

Oh, even though PLOW was the sponsor, I am the guy footing the bill so can someone get into contact with me via xbl about the championship winner.

AND, I,ve decided if the winner is a PLOW member then the top scoring NON PLOW member will receive 10 mil, 2nd non member 6mil, and the 3rd placed non member 3mil.
(Cerberus was PLOW when started so is exempt)

Any chance of some championship cat n mouse, nothing quite like knock the Bjesus out of the opposition eh!

I know was a good race, REALLY close, sometimes TOO close lol! But was a great ending to the championship!

Can I just say tubbi, you was amazing! And nice idea about the non PLOW member prize! Great racing with all you guys! Was a great series and hope it makes a comeback!

Yea Cat mouse would be cool, if you got an idea about certian cat n mouse rules and which cars would be good PM richy and we will get community series going.
