Jun 5 - ELMS R5 (ISCC R8)- Montserrat Extreme 1hr.

We move to Montserrat Extreme for one of our most grueling tests of Endurance yet in the ISCC. With steep climbs and fast straights this track will be the true driver test of the season.

Race Format

Qualifying

Qualifying 15 min with colisions on, make your own space and run how ever many laps you can. Dirty laps will count and not penalize you.

Race 1 (Round 8 )

-1 Hour

-Lobbies will be mixed with 4 cars from each class. (ex. lobby one = 4 P1 cars and 4 P2 Cars, lobby two =4 P2 Cars and 4 GT2 Cars and lobby three will be 4 P1 Cars and 4 GT2 Cars)

-Rolling starts

-With mixed lobbies comes greater risk of accidents, it is imperative that the faster cars take the needed steps to ensure a clean pass, slower cars you are to race your line, and it is up to the faster cars to find a way around, DON'T try to help them by moving over, because you may just be moving over into their path.

Unfortunately there will be limited Staff numbers at this event to run it, what with a number of us still at Silverstone for the GT1s and some of us at work. If there are not enough Staff around to run the event we hope that some members of the community will be able to help us out and run the event for us.

There should still be some of us around so I don't imagine it being a huge problem, we just may need some extra people to run qualification lobbies.

I'm out of this race unfortunately,got to be in Plymouth for 6am Monday and that means leaving around 2am(3.5+hr drive)

I regret to inform you that I have not practiced whatsoever for the up coming Camino Extreme round of the ISCC, I'm deciding not to enter, but it doesnt mean I'm quitting the championship.

I think that it could be a double-out for Austins Motorsport... I have not practiced either and it is such a challenging track, so, I'm out.

Who from P2 is going to be there?

Also, you said dirty laps will count and not penalize you? Can you explain that a little bit more? If I run one flying lap in qualy that's 2:01 but its dirty, and then someone else runs a clean 2:02 does that mean I'm in front of them on the grid?

That rule only applies to the GT3 Championship. The ISCC can take any lap you do (provided you didn't cut corners, of course).

So if the first lap I run is dirty but I set a time that I don't think I will be able to beat, I would be best off not running anymore laps so that a slower clean lap does not erase the faster dirty lap?

That'd be the best option, yes.

lets see what happens at la Sarthe for the 2,4

overtaking the slower cars was difficult.

A saw Duncan I believe start spinning, there was quite a bit of lag on my screen adn I wasn't sure if thats what happened. I watched him spinning and in turn hit the next corners head on. Ruined the aero on my car adn decided to pull off so I wouldn't cause anymore problems. Looking forward to the 2.4 hours of Le Mans. Intrested in seeing if me and VVV Micko can keep up our close runs in qualifying.

Arrgghh, I missed this race because I had to bring my roommate to the ER after he drank too much and started throwing u blood. The one race where I'm not 4 seconds slower than the rest of you and I miss it.

I went on a tear last night and spent my day recovering. Next time I go out drinking I need to remember I'm not 24 anymore. I will still be feeling it tomorrow. Happy I didn't get as bad as narboza's roommate, hope he's okay
