XBox Live Help

When I turned on my 360 tonight, it would not connect to XBL. I ran the connection test and it connects to my network and the internet fine, but fails to connect to XBL itself. I have tried everything I can think of to fix this, and what's weird is that both of my roommates have 360's that will connect to XBL and they are on the same connection and network as I am. Anybody have any ideas how I might be able to fix this?

Yea, I tried all that.

Thankfully I managed to fix it by borrowing my roommates HDD, which let me sign in as him and then recover my gamertag and sign in with that. I then switched back to my HDD, recovered my GT to that, and was able to finally sign in. Weird.
