We still have a couple cars to qualify so this is not 100% yet gents those cars will qualify tomorrow as they have had issues connecting

NOTE: The Nissan's and Jaguar's in GT2 will have 5% more power handycar added onto their cars to balance out the field these changes will not take effect until time for the race, so those who drive one of these cars and are yet to qualify, you will use the origional power handy cap issued for this race then switch to the one issued now for the race itself.

Any chance you could make the spreadsheet larger so it's easier to see?

All I can say is that is bull**** I spent weeks tuning my car and hundreds of laps to get where I did in terms of lap time. You can't take that away after I have done my time.

When I asked about the handy caps I was told that was them set and not to moan at all. I was told to tune my car to make it faster. I can 100% say I CAN go faster than my qually time in several cars on the list.

If these handy caps on the Jag and the Nissan are added I don't think I will be racing in the ISCC any longer as it is pointless as I am be penalised for spending time tuning my car. I should have just sand bagged in qually..........

Perhaps this could've been avoided if we had a Le Mans Test Day about a month or so ago?

Stonewall I 100% agree.

It is not professional or fair to change them this close to the race.

I can say I will not be racing if they are changed.

E.g. Simon did not start test until yesterday and was 2secs slower with NO tuning. Where as I spend weeks wrking on my car.

Then last night general jumped in a porka and went FASTER than my qually time after only 5 laps again in car that was NOT tuned for Le Mans.

well, tbh Ian, the handicaps were to balance the field, but obviously some cars needed more/less. the Audi R8 LMS being one of them. there would've been no way for me to be competative with that amount of power-lost.

On next year's ISCC schedule, we need to add a Le Mans Test Day as a mandatory attend date about a month for the real 2.4 hour race.

I don't think I will be on xbox before the race.....if I race now but I'm sure I can run a few laps. I have had to prove this to Simon already with his car....... It's getting abit old to be honest ( and I'm not getting at you personal so please dont think that). People are getting to quick to moan other drivers going quick after putting ALOT time in tuning and I'm sure the the Jag drivers will fell the same........

I tried to organise this and no one wanted to give up their precious time after saying they would help.

@Ian, no one complained, I did this to make the racing closer I advertised well before we started running anything that we would run special power handycaps for this race and also said that they could change just before the race happened if need be... If I was not clear on this then I'm sorry as I obviously didn't make sure everyone understood. And no I was not targeting you in particular, while yes I know you spend a lot of time tuning on your cars It wouldn't be very exciting nore appealing to anyone else to see you and ash that far ahead and may turn away and not race at all. (A reality we have seen numerous times.) I simply chose this form of action to give more people a chance to win our biggest race of the year. We're not asking you to Re-qualify as you have earned your starting spot. I'm sorry it's now been changed where people who had a distict advantage have been pegged back. But outside of my personal testing, qualifying is all I have had to go off of to balance the field. Again I'm sorry this has effected you in a negative way but I chose a course of action that would allow an opportunity for more people to win this race.

That's why I said you should make a Le Mans Test Day (or maybe a test week) as a part of the ISCC calender for next year and make it so that you can't race in the 2.4 if you don't participate in the test day.

a lot of these arguments and temper flare ups could have been avoided.

i know for a fact that i've mentioned this before. and i know others have brought it up.

in sports cars, in real life for qualifying. they let the prototypes go out for a session, then they have the GT cars go out for a session. this mixed lobby qualifying has got to go. period. ok, we realize that traffic is part of the race. of course it is. thats what makes it exciting.

but that's not what qualifying is, that's to see how fast the cars can go.

so can we PLEASE qualify the GT cars in one lobby. and the prototypes in their own lobby. it's how they do it everywhere else.

i think it's reasonable to see if the future american round of the ISCC can be done this way. i think it would cut down on incidents.
