Results!

Hey, since its results day for England, Wales and Northern Ireland, all the members of TORA who sat exams this year should have results in by now.

So what did you get, and what are you doing next?

Us Scots got our results two weeks ago, as we don't do A Levels. Generally, GCSE = Standarg Grade, Intermediate 2 > GCSE, Higher < A Level, Advanced Higher > A Level.

This year I sat three Advanced Highers and an Intermediate 2.

AH Graphics - A (Damn hard work to get that, very very happy)
AH Mathematics - C (Kind of expected, as much as I love Maths, I was not ready for the AH course )
AH Physics - C (I was very surprised, I thought the exam went really well, and I was expecting a B at least, perhaps even an A... Ah well)
Int 2 Woodwork - A (Not sure I even finished the course...)

And now i'm off to the University of Glasgow to do a degree in Product Design Engineering, however I would like to change that to Mechanical Engineering in my second year, as my results from 2010 did not get me into that particular course.. The two courses are pretty much the same in first year, so it should be okay. I'd love to work for a defense firm, an aerospace firm, or, my real ambition, a Motorsport firm or racing team.

I'd love to give Rob Smedley a run for his money in terms of colloquial banter over the team radio!
