TORA MSA Abarth Trophy Season 2 - Rules and Discussion

Connection issues, as usual. Having to split into 2 lobbies.

Quit out because i couldnt overtake or defend due to there being so much lag on my screen. Will probably not do the rest of the series unless the Turn 10 servers get better.

The various connection issues ruined the potential of tonight, but the racing was fun, particularly with Chucky in race two and Jenson in race 3. Race 1 ended up a disaster, after not one, not two, not even three but four lag bombs!

Sorry for anyone I got into in race 3, Abarths + cold rear tyres = slidey slidey.

Well I really enjoyed tonight.

Race 1, 2nd (10th) on the grid of B lobby and a poor start resulted in moving down the grid early on, just learning the car and what speed to do the corners I was happy with finishing 4th (12th).

Race 2, 4th (12th) on the grid, Good start but still learning, mid race had a really good battle with Scot which he won but very clean racing but didnt save the replay so if anyone can gift would be great then I can put a video up. finished in 5th (13th)

Race 3, Reverse lobby grid, Started 3rd (11th) very poor start and went off at turn 2/3. Catch up time, GTR and OZ had a coming together so that was up 2 places, then could see AERO infront but slightly getting away but could see he was catching JENSON and CK, AERO takes a corner much quicker then JENSON and they tapped causing AERO to spin and I pass him, laps ticking by and Im catching JENSON. We ran side by side though the luffeild complex to copse, but got the overtake and finished in 3rd (10th).

Was really happy with the result as Im moving into the mid field class. With 16 cars on the grid who knows how it could have turned out, hopefully turn 10 can sort it out and next week we can see

it is too bad i have to miss these races. if i can make any, i'll try.

Well, that was some truly epic racing! And suprisingly clean ones as well.

Honestly, I had plenty of luck in some of those races, managed to dodge that big mess in race 3, and got three perfect starts.

''Team Sinead O'Conner'' is a name that is going to stick I think!

Great fun tonight, good clean racing at the front of A lobby.

Managed to win race 1 which Chaddy up my trumpet and threw away race 2 on the last lap but still managed a respectable 2nd. Had to work my way past Duncan in race 3 then got my head down and went for the win in race 2.

Great racing last night

had the speed to win all 3 races like Ian but didnt want to take any risks.

4 wins out of 6 fiat races

Guys I have found a major bug which is preventing me from painting the car as I want to.

Yes I found that out also. I just had to make sure I kept that part "clean" but it is very annoying

Its really stupid, it looks quite good the way it is and its gonna look stupid if I try to avoid it!

Yeah, it's very annoying, but I noticed that when I was in the race the car was fine on both sides. It's got the error in the home space so when you take photos of the car from there it shows. I haven't checked to see if it doesn't appear when taking photos during a race, but it definitely wasn't there when looking aroud the car during the race.

Pretty sure, I remember commenting on the fact that my car's paint was normal on the left side during one of the races.

Just noticed, that its a bug throughout the game guys, I went round a track and its all wrong, I'll show you in the pic, and before you say "Because its the pic" its actually not, I noticed it when driving around.

Before the "b" should be a "y", looks more like a "u". After the "b" is meant to be an "o", looks more like a reverse "g". P1$5ing me off............

Hmm thats a shame, I could have sworn mines was ok during the race. Mines completely puts the shape of the design out of line.

I'm actually surprised by the amount of paint glitches that still exist in Forza 4. When racing the 458 has it's side badges and boot lid name covered by stickers, yet it is fine during picture taking.

The R34 still has side skirts that reflects one of the sides and can't be painted over.
