Motegi - Official Test - Report and Results

We had a competitive turnout for the 4th Test of the season at Motegi and a good mix of cars and teams.




A lot was learnt by the participants, ahead of tomorrow's race meeting...

- Firstly, the entrance to the pit lane is treacherous! Once you have found it (after the bridge but before the final chicane), that is not all, there is a chicane in the pit lane that must be navigated, with the penalty being 20mph gravel! Racers who did not take part in the test, BEWARE!

- Secondly and perhaps more importantly, we practiced multiple 'rolling starts' and found the 'start-finish' straight not suitable for this procedure due to the final chicane being soo tight, making it very difficult to go through side by side and for the final rows, it is impossible to get ready in time before the leaders have crossed the line.





Therefore it is the opinion of all those who took part in the test that;

''The rolling start procedure should be moved back to the back straight, with the shadow beneath the lights acting as a temporary start line.''

We would like the stewards to take our experiences at the test with serious weight when considering our proposal.

shoot i meant to take part in this today, but got called in to work because of some urgent (we released the product to early and it doesn't work well) business.
